The texture of Hot + Sexy is thick and will stay where you put it. The five bottles each have a flip top cap, making for easy pouring without mess. Just flip open the cap and squeeze for a large amount or allow to pour for a small amount. Once on your hand or other area you will notice a strong warming sensation. Although the lube feels like it should be sticky it isn't. I don't know whether it is the sweet smell, taste, or what that makes the mind believe that the lube should be sticky, but once you have it in your hand you'll know what I mean. In actuality,the lube is slick, although it is not slick enough to get rid of all friction. If you like some friction during sex, this lube is perfect.

There are five flavors to this lube kit, vanilla, cinnamon, watermelon, strawberry, and cherry. Vanilla tastes very similar to liquid vanilla ice cream flavored candy. It even smells the same. If you've never had it, it's a mild, imitation vanilla flavor. Cinnamon smells more like medicine than anything else and has only a very faint taste of cinnamon overpowered by the taste of the lube. Not pleasant. The only real hint of cinnamon is the burning sensation in the back of the throat. Watermelon smells extremely fruity and pleasant. The taste however is contradicting. It tastes like a strong water downed watermelon cocktail. How you can have strong and watermelon is beyond me however it has been done. The strawberry smells and tastes exactly like strawberry bubblegum which for me is wonderful! I love that stuff. Cherry smells like a cough drop and tastes nothing like cherry however it is sweet and mild and a little floral. All in all, the flavors are very sweet and either candy like or strange.

The first lube I tried was the vanilla flavor. It tasted good and stayed where I put it, but it still left me with some friction. Even so, I carried on. Within a few minutes, I was gushing with my own fluids, more so than normal. I wasn't overly aroused and so the only thing that I could deduce was that the lube aided in the production of my own fluids. The warming sensation was pleasant but only lasted a few minutes. The lube itself didn't last more than ten minutes however by that time I was fully wet and fine. Some people may have to reapply though. You must clean this lube off as leaving it on the skin or clothes may cause odor later. Just wash with soap and water.

The ingredients are Glycerin, flavor, mango extract, papaya extract, pineapple extract, Butylene Glycol, Alcohol Denatured, Citric Acid, Water, and some bottles contain Caramel, Red 33 and 40, and Yellow 5. If you are sensitive to glycerin, caramel, red or yellow dyes, or the listed types of fruit you will want to steer clear of this lube.

The lubes arrive in a cute little plastic box with a pink flame insert which describes the lubes and gives the ingredients. The bottles are arranged with the lightest lube (vanilla) on the left ending in the darkest red lube (cherry) on the right. Each bottle is adorned in pink flame labels which give the exact ingredients. This is helpful if you are sensitive to one ingredient but not others as not all lubes contain the same ingredients. The box itself is great for storage and can be easily wrapped for gifting. Because the bottles are small (1oz each) they are perfect for travel. Just pop them in a plastic bag first to prevent leaks.
