Wet Gel lubricant is a water-based lubricant good for general purpose use. The product contains no added fragrances and, being water based, will not degrade condoms and is safe for use with any sex toy material including silicone. I have used this lube mostly to aid in vaginal lubrication as well as some light anal use. As a vaginal lubricant, it functions very well to get things started. This product does contain glycerin which can increase the likelyhood of yeast infections. It also contains parabens, so if you know you have an allergy or are sensitive, I obviously would not recommend this product for you.

As an anal lube, it works fine as far as I have used it, but I'm not into heavy anal play, and I only used it in the shower and the steam seemed to keep it more moist for longer. It did hold up the the shower fairly well, but I wasn't directly under the stream of water which I'm sure would have rinsed it all off. I would not recommend it for prolonged use as it tends to dry out relatively quickly and becomes very tacky, so it may make anal use uncomfortable during a prolonged session. I also would not recommend it for anal use because it is quite runny for a product labeled as a gel and tends to run down and off the toys it is applied to.

I don't know that I would call this lube a true "gel". It is thicker than regular water-based lubricants but not by much. It does not stick to toys well and tends to run out of the bottle if it is knocked over and the cap is not down all the way. Out of the tube. it has a very slick texture initially and is decent for getting vaginal play started - especially with a toy. After some time though, it get very dry and tacky and basically becomes the opposite of a lubricant. If it is going to be used for anal intercourse, be prepared to reapply frequently.

Clean up is very easy - a few wipes with a damp rag cleaned everything with no residual tackiness. I feel the easier clean up afterward is a great advantage. That being said, I feel I would trade it lasting a little longer even if it made clean up a little more difficult.

I did end up tasting this lube so I could comment on it. It has a slightly unpleasent bitter taste, almost soap-like. It has a very faint odor that is really only noticable if you're paying attention to it. It has a faint chemical smell but hardly noticable. Being unflavored, it could be used in a pinch and if you can bear the taste, but that is really up to personal preference. I'm personally put off by the taste and would never use it as an oral lube.

As a vaginal lubricant, whether it is being used for intercourse or masturbation, the lube works well. It is very slick initially, but after 5-7 minutes, it has about completely dried out and has become mostly just sticky. It's not that other water-based lubes won't dry out, but I was a little surprised how quickly it did dry out. When it dries, it becomes sticky, basically making things worse. Re-applying was the only solution other than just adding a little water but that has limited effect. This is one of the main problems that I have with this lube - especially when using it alone. Reapplying tends to take me out of the moment, and I find it very distracting. Also, once it becomes tacky, it tends to stay tacky and will not disappear with time, so clean up is a must every time it is used.

One of the best features about this product is how well it cleans up. A quick wipe or two with a damp rag is all is takes to remove any remnants from skin. I always wash toys with soap ans water whether I use a lube or not, but I'd imagine you could use a damp rag or a run under the sink to clean toys too. I have also yet to find any stains left from this product. I have not thoroughly tested it one every style of fabric, so I don't want to say it will never stain anything, but so far so good.

The product comes in a flip-top squeeze bottle and is available in five sizes; 1.5oz, 4.8oz, 3.5oz, 10oz, and 0.8oz. The product itself is runny, so I found that if the bottle gets knocked over, and the cap is not fully clicked down, it will leak all over the place. I have not had any problems with the bottle leaking with the cap fully down though. I still would not trust it to not leak in a suit case, so I wouldn't travel with this unless it was in a ziplock bag. The bottle is very slick - especially with lubed hands. There is a ridged dent running vertically down the side for your fingers to grip, but it doesn't help much. The product came out of the bottle relatively easily because it is so runny; a gentle squeeze with get plenty out of the bottle.
