Liberator is known for their luxurious line of sex shapes and furniture. This piece is mainly designed for a woman to ride solo. Another reviewer accurately compared it to a rocking horse. It has a pouch for a dildo or vibrator to stand up in and two pockets on either end of this pouch for vibrators. You put your toys in and ride to your hearts content. Because there are two pockets, the pulse can be ridden frontwards or backwards and still maintain both inner vaginal and clitoral stimulation. I especially like the three pocket system because I also like stimulation on the far end of my vulva. In fact, I often prefer that kind of stimulation to clitoral. (Weird, I know.)


This is my third toy mount from Liberator. I mainly use them when giving my hubby oral. I figured it would help keep the party going for me. It does that very well. We are always both very happy playing with this. I don't think this would work for double penetration or other partnered sex, but it is great for solo and can be used while giving oral.


Eden carries these in blue, red, purple, black, tan, leopard, and white tiger. You can purchase a color to coordinate with your decor. Mine is purple just because it is a fun color.

The pulse is a quality piece designed to last. It is 20 inches long, 13 inches high and 12.5 inches wide. The bottom is rounded allowing it to rock. The microfiber cover is soft and plush very similar to velvet. If feels great on bare skin. The microfiber cover unzips on the bottom. Underneath this cover is a nylon waterproof cover that protects the foam core. The core is polyurethane foam. This is what gives the pulse its shape. It is very firm and supportive. It is crush resistant and holds its shape very well. I am plus size and it still maintains its shape beautifully every time I use it.

This is a toy mount. As stated before it has a pouch for a vibrator or dildo and 2 pockets for more vibrators. I like to use my Elise from Lelo here in the pouch, but many vibes or dildos would work. The vibrator stands up and can be ridden. Elise does particularly well with this due to her size. She has a 1.25 diameter which fits wonderfully in the pouch. Too much bigger than this might not work as well. I also tried with Gigi from Lelo. Gigi is a much smaller vibrator with a 1.125 base, but she worked when I stuffed a handkerchief in the pouch and then Gigi on top of that. Those are the only two vibes I tried, but I think any vibes within those measurements would work well. On either side of the pouch is a pocket for a vibrator. The pockets are approximately 4 inches wide and 3 inches long. Mimi fits very well in them, but any palm size vibrator would work. Again the 2 pockets make this very versatile. It can be ridden backwards or forwards and you can use up to 3 vibrators at a time.

I was really excited to try this piece. I love the idea of a rocking toy mount and thought it would be fabulous. It is, but it took me some time to figure out how to make it work for me. The vibrators were the easy part. I used various combinations of Elise, Mimi, and Gigi and found them all to work very well. The difficult part for me was in the rocking. When using this on the bed or on the floor, it was hard to maintain a rhythmic rocking. My thighs kept hitting sides and I just couldn't get maintain the rocking motion. The vibrations felt good, but the lack of sustained rocking was more distracting than thrilling. This may be due to my plus size body; a smaller person might not have this issue. I quickly figured it would be easier if it was on top of a bench that I could straddle.

I have an Equus also from Liberator which is basically a bench. When I rode from on top of the Equus, my feet could touch the ground, and I could rock very easily without hitting my thighs. The microfiber that both pieces are made from stick together so there is no chance of it falling off. This was great. But then I had my best idea ever. I own Liberators Scoop which is a rocking platform kind of like a teeter totter. I placed the pulse on the scoop and Yeehaw...now that's a ride. We have dubbed this contraption The Bull and it's my new favorite. It's surprising stable due to the microfibers. I haven't been bucked off once.

I am giving this 4 stars because I needed to add more Liberator pieces to make it truly exceptional. However, I absolutely love it and will ride often.

The pulse is very easy to maintain. The outside cover is easily zipped off and thrown in the washer and dryer. I often wipe down the pulse with wet wipes in between washes. I have found that is an effective way to keep it looking clean without washing every time. The inner cover is easily wiped down whenever necessary. The microfiber does collect lint. This is probably the biggest drawback to maintenance. We keep it in a large pillowcase when not in use to minimize the lint problem.

Storage might be tricky. It's not as big as some Liberator products, but it is an unusual shape and can't really be passed off as a normal pillow. It's too bulky to store on the bed. We store ours behind a dresser.
