Why Phallix glass toys come with a cheap satin bag...
A quality, well made, padded bag suitable for storing breakable or delicate sex toys. There is extra length beyond the "ordered" amount.

Pros
Padded sex toy bag that comes in a variety of lengths.
Cons
Feels synthetic. No choice of colors.
After recently collecting another glass toy to enjoy, and finding that it came in a cheap satin bag, I decided that it was time to actually invest a bit in a padded bag. Who knows what I might want to hide in it from time to time?
Decisions, Decisions. Color - nope. OK. I can live with random. My bag is gray - probably not my first choice, and not even pictured as an option. Length - well, who knows what I might want this for in the future, and the price doesn't change. It is 12 inches. (That just sounds delightfully wicked of course...). This bag is actually huge.
There are 12 inches that are truly padded, and another inch and a half of diminishing padding and drawstring closure. The total length is pretty close to 14 inches. In hindsight, it's a bit too large. I did a quick search on Eden - there are few glass toys with an insertable length over 8 inches. There are more rubber, glass, and skin-like toys that are that long. A padded bag would be a discreet way to store them, but possibly overkill.
Let's contrast this bag with the one padded bag that I did receive with a glass toy, the Fantasy G-Spot. That bag was 9 inches, and has held up since Oct 07. A nine inch bag is actually long enough for most toys. At several times, I've had more than one toy in it at a time. For general storage in a drawer, I could easily see it being used for two maybe three or four glass toys. I, unfortunately, do not own that many!
The bag itself is a synthetic plush fabric. Even though, I sew, I have no idea what this is actually made of. There is a faint odor, but only when trying to breathe directly into the bag. I'm not particularly fond of the "feel" of the bag. It feels both artificial and soft. However, I have no doubt that the bag will serve its purpose. It's designed to protect toys from breaking! It will. It's as large as small pillow, and very snug.
Does it shed? Who knows...? I scratched the heck out of the side, and it withstood my claws. However, I'd be careful storing difficult to clean, or lint attracting items in it directly. They might be best stored inside a thin bag within the pouch.
Phallix makes this bag though. It explains why they sell most of their glass toys with a cheap satin bag. They want this product sold separately.

Follow-up commentary
4 months after original review
The pleasure pouch does it's job well. It's not a product that requires a lot of additional descriptions though. It keeps items from breaking, and I haven't dared to push the limits by testing my fine glass items with a free fall. I still think that a smaller size would have been more than adequate for my needs though.
