My husband and I discovered Liberator products a year or so ago. My husband has a bad back, and we were looking for something that would allow him to be more comfortable during sex. We were skeptical at first, but we bought a couple of pieces, and then we were hooked. We couldn't believe what a difference this made for us. As far as we are concerned these are the best sex aid ever. We have a growing collection of Lib products, and the jaz is one our favorites.

If you don't know, Liberator products are shapes and furniture that help with sex positions. The jaz is one of their smaller pieces. It helps to line up bodies for better penetration and oral sex while maintaining comfort. Many couples use pillows or bunched up blankets to help with certain positions. These can work, but the Liberator pieces are so much better. They are firm and supportive and won't deflate like a pillow would. They are also crush resistant. They can handle my 200# very easily. They also don't slip and slide on the bed. They just stay right where you put them.

We have found the jaz is best for several variations of doggy and cunnilingus. We use it often and simply call it The Purple Thingy.

The Jaz is one of the smaller liberator pieces at 14.5 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 6 inches high. It is very similar to the wedge, just smaller. The smaller size makes it ideal for travel. It's also a bit easier to store.

Like all the shapes, the core of the jaz is made from a sturdy champagne color foam. The foam is what gives the jaz it's shape. It is very sturdy, firm, and crush resistant. It's not squishy like regular pillows, but firm to give support and elevation during sex. Protecting the foam is a zippered nylon waterproof cover. On top of that is a zippered microsuede cover. Most liberator pieces have a microfiber cover. I love the microsuede because it does not collect lint like the microfiber does. It isn't quite as plush as the microfiber, but it still feels very nice on skin. It is soft and smooth and luxurious to the touch. When I rub my hands across the material, the color of the suede changes color slightly and you can see where you touched it. The microfiber on other pieces don't do that.

My jaz is a quality toy. There were no defects anywhere. Both of the zippers are heavyduty. We have never had an issue with it.

Eden Fantasys sells these in a variety of colors- cherry, lime, blue, grape, fuchsia, and charcoal. I have the grape one. Most of it is a pretty purple color while the sides are black.

We experimented quite a bit with jaz before figuring out how it worked best for us. At first we had trouble with it. We already had the traditional wedge, and it just seemed to work better for lots of things. We ended up using the jaz for a head rest or foot rest or for something to hang onto. I wasn't too happy with that because it had been pricey.

Then we discovered what worked for us. It was really great at a rear entry position with both of us lying face down, him on top. The standard wedge was too big for that. Once we had that figured out, we quickly starting using it for lots of variations of rear entry and it was fabulous every time. It's comfortable and the angle is perfect every time. I love that it has an exclusive position. We also use it for cunnilingus and yes, headrests and footrests. It's OK for missionary, but I prefer the wedge because it seems more stable. A smaller person might not notice any difference between the two.

This has become one of our go-to pieces. Because it is small it is easy to store within easy reach of our bed. We put it in between our bed and nightstand. It is very convenient to grab and use. That's a big reason why it gets used so much.

This arrived wrapped up in plastic. Once out of the plastic, it was ready to use. It had a booklet demonstrating how to use various Liberator products. The booklet provides good information, but just might get you hooked on buying lots of their products.

This is ideal for traveling. It is smaller than most other Liberator pieces. It can easily be thrown in a bag and taken on a trip. This is the one we choose to take when we go on vacation.

Care for the jaz is easy. The microsuede cover zips off and can be thrown in the washer and dryer. The waterproof cover can be wiped down if anything has seeped down through the first cover. I often clean the microsuede cover with a wet wipe in between washes. That's pretty effective at getting small stains out and saves on laundry.

As stated above, the microsuede does not collect lint like most of the liberator pieces. I keep other pieces in pillow cases or covered up with sheets, but the jaz doesn't need that. It's fine out in the open.

Because it is small, it is one of the easier Liberator pieces to store. We keep ours in between the bed and nightstand. It's the perfect size to wedge in there and it is always available.

I really debated about what rating to give the jaz. It isn't quite as versatile as the wedge. We use it for fewer positions. If someone asked for a recommendation, I would suggest the wedge. And yet, we use it just as much as our wedge. I don't know why, maybe because it is always within arms reach, or because we like to color coordinate with our other purple toys or lingerie, or because it allows for very comfortable sex. Regardless of the reason we use it a lot with fantastic results. I asked my husband how he would rate the jaz. He said, "The purple thingy, 5 stars at least." I decided he was right. It's a 5 all on its own. It works well, is easily cleaned & stored, and it doesn't collect lint. What more do you want from a positional aid?
