We have had the Liberator Fascinator Posh Throe for several months now and decided to order this Liberator Posh Throe. While the Fascinator microfiber is soft and comfortable, we thought the Posh Throe would be softer and fluffier. We were right.

Our Liberator Fascinator is black. When we ordered the Liberator Posh, the only color available was purple, so we went with that. We were so excited about trying it out that we couldn't wait for the red or black to come in stock again. I am so glad we didn't wait.

The Posh Throe is thicker and softer than the Fascinator (which we still love). Both measure 54" by 71" and just about completely covers the top of our queen size mattress. That is great because we have become used to keeping it on our bed each and every night--it is like having a set of extra plush/soft sheets. It moves around a little while we sleep but it does stay in place if we are getting frisky on top of it. If it moved during sleep, when the Mrs. makes up the bed, she just readjusts it and it is fine. I really do notice a different feeling with the Posh underneath--its almost like lying on a cloud of soft puffiness.

One side is the "posh" side--a faux fur similar to what is trademarked as "Polar Fleece" only softer and puffier. The other side is a smooth, soft satin. Softness is not usually a word I would use to describe satin--it can be rather slippery or grainy, neither of which describes this satin.

Liberator claims this throe is waterproof and we have found it to be waterproof and as far as we can tell, stainproof.

The entire throe is composed of 100% polyester. Polyester fibers have come along way since developed in the 1960's. The satin side is shiny, smooth, soft and silky. The faux fur side is a bright matte color, fluffy, puffy and soft. It has about 3/8" of nap--compare this to the Fascinator micro fiber which has no nap at all (although it, too, is very soft).

The perimeter of the blanket is trimmed in a matte satin ribbon. This adds a nice detail and makes the throe even more attractive than it would be if left plain. The Fascinator does not have this nicer finish is more plain, although equally effective as a comfortable and waterproof blanket.

This is machine washable and dryable (on a low setting). I have to admit that we did not lower the dryer setting and both throes washed and dryed perfectly. They seem to be wrinkle free. We had the throe on our bed for 5 nights and even then it was not wrinkled.

Having grandchildren for frequent sleep overs we are used to having waterproof mattress pads. They are uncomfortable and even the fabric covered pads cause you to sweat. These Liberator throes do not have that problem. Other than being ever so slightly less "huggable" you would not know that this is a waterproof (for all body fluids) item.

Every claim that Liberator makes regarding the Posh Throe is true, true and true. It is waterproof for all body (and other) fluids; it is comfortable and it is easy to care for. Regarding sexual fluids, it is nice to know that where ever you engage in sexual activities and where ever the byproducts of sex (or masturbation) end up, rest assured that a quick removal of this large blanket and you can ignore it until you are ready to do the wash. No one has to sleep on a "wet spot" or keep a towel nearby to place over the spot. With this throe, no worries--don't even think about anything. This takes care of everything for you.

All Liberator Throes come folded in a sturdy, clear plastic box. I do not recommend trying to store the throe in this box--you will never fold it up so that it will fit in the box. It can be stored anyplace you store your blankets/linens. It is discreet and no one would think "sex" regardless how close up they inspect the item. We use ours so often it is either on the bed, sofa, kid's bed or its in the laundry. After many uses and many washings it still shows no sign of wear. I suspect we will have many years of satisfying use out of it.

The plastic box has a large cardboard insert that shows near nude couples snuggling with their throe. This itself is not discreet but there is no need to keep that around. There is no useful information contained on the card.

Care is easy and minimal. Toss in the machine, use your usual laundry detergent and then toss in the dryer. Done, done and ready to go!!!
