Smaller than expected, but holds a surprising amount!
This classy little number can hide your toys without raising eyebrows at first, or second glance. Although a bit small, it is deceptively spacious inside.

Pros
Adorable, classy looking storage for a small collection.
Cons
Small, keys are flimsy and break easily.
I was so happy to receive the Devine toy box in the mail recently. It was wrapped neatly in tissue paper when it came in the mail and was padded securely when shipped. It sure is much smaller than I imagined...
Although it's a small box, the construction feels sturdier than expected upon first lifting it. All the seams on the lacey top with red underlay were neat and without stitches showing, or other signs of shoddy craftsmanship. It looks really sharp, and I wouldn't really think twice about leaving it on the nightstand if it enhances your decor. I thought I would prefer the pink corset box, but actually I think the red lace is so much sexier, grown up, and also much prettier in person. I am glad I could review this version.
There were little packets of silica inside the box to keep away moisture, but the inside of the box did smell a little, perhaps like the glue used to bond the fabric to the box walls. I am pretty sure this will fade with time.
There is a string to hold the lid when opened, which is a nice feature, but with repeat use it may dislodge from either side I think. A little hot glue would probably fix it right up however.
The lock came inside the box wrapped in tissue paper as well. The keys are adorable in my opinion, though it wouldn't take a genius to pick the lock if they really wanted to get in the Devine toy box, since the keys are so simple. Still, a lock is sometimes enough of a deterrent. Unfortunately the key is so simple that it got stuck in the lock the first few times I tried it, and I broke it trying to get it out. Now the lock is useless unless I can get the broken key piece out. You could use a luggage lock instead if this happens to you.
This box doesn't really scream "Sex toy", and you could even use it for other things like your nail care stuff, or socks, money, etc etc. This box might fit in deep dresser drawers as well, so you could hide your toys twice over.
As I said this box it not very large, but it will hold a decent amount of toys. For those of you that have the Lelo Iris or Elise, they will fit inside the box lengthwise with about 1/2 inch to spare; anything bigger than the Elise will be a problem. Actually I think it's a really good place to store chargers, if you have a lot of rechargeable toys. It does hold a ton of little stuff, chargers, lube samples, bullets, cock rings, batteries and the like.
If you want it for serious storage, here is what I have that fits...
It's JUST big enough to fit a 4.2 ounce bottle of Sliquid H20 lubricant standing straight, Lelo Iris, Daido #3, Lelo Gigi, Njoy Pure Wand, Lelo Ella, Sasi, Lelo Luna Beads, and Lelo Lily, with a little bit of room to spare for condoms or flat lube samples, or batteries.
I do want to mention that if you store a bunch of silicone toys in the box you should use little baggies to protect them from interacting with each other chemically. All the toys I mentioned came with their own satin baggies for storage, minus the Njoy wand.
It actually holds quite a lot when you think about it. It's much smaller than some of those larger cases, so it might travel well, although not having a handle of some sort doesn't make it a stand alone travel case. But packed in luggage I imagine it would store all your favorites quite nicely.
Overall I would purchase this box again, or even give it as a gift. It's likely that they wouldn't even know what it was intended for. If the red was this nice in person, I bet the purple lace and croc versions look great too.

Follow-up commentary
5 months after original review
I am still using this to hold my most used toys a few months later. It looks very nice on my nightstand and is still convenient for spur of the moment toy grabbing. Love it. It doesn't get a whole lot of use, but there's absolutely no wear or tear on this thing yet.

I wouldn't buy it myself for $40 though, I think it's more like a $25 to $30 item. $40 is a bit much I think for how small it is, even though it's decent storage.
