The Sex in the Shower Foot Rest is a simply device they can give you a leg up in your shower sex! It can help for shaving too which is what I use it for most. It suctions well, but it can slide, so be careful!

Pros
Easy to use, Good for moderate aid, Suctions well
Cons
Can slide with too much pressure, No texture on the foot part to prevent the foot sliding too
I love items from Eden that have multiple functions. It is why I started my personal store! The Sex in the Shower Locking Suction Foot Rest-Position Accessory is an awesome sexual and bath time tool. It suctions to the side of a tub or shower to help you raise a leg for sex or to help you shave. It can even be used to rest things on if they are the right shape. The positions that can be aided are limited, but for this price it is worth a try. Just don't expect it to be invisible. You might fall on your ass!
The foot rest part is made of a sturdy and thick, white plastic. It has no odor. The suction cup's material is not specified, but I believe it is made of a PVC vinyl type material. It feels like a hard rubber that does have a bit of an odor, but only if you get really close to it. The plastic is very smooth and can get slick. I wish that there was a textured pad on it or a contour ribbing to the material, so that it was less dangerous to put a soapy foot up on.
The foot rest itself is kind of shaped like a short flower petal. It is wider as it comes out from the wall or whatever it is attached to. The end of it rounds off while it dips a bit in the middle to kind of match the contour of the underside of a foot. It is about 7" long (out from the wall) and about 5" wide at the largest point. It looks like a solid piece, but really, underneath it is more hollow.
The suction cup is about 4 1/2" across. It does not suction well just by itself. This means that if you just set it down on something smooth, it isn't going to stick strongly. There is a lever underneath the foot rest that when it gets pushed up towards the underside, it will depress and suck in the suction cup...effectively suctioning it to what you are trying to apply it to. The lever is very rigid and the first time I did it, it popped powerfully into place, but first, it banged into my finger. I have a bruised finger nail now. So, go slow and have a firm grip!
Pretty much all you need is a smooth surface to apply the foot rest to. Really, it does not HAVE to be put in a shower. If you have some type of tiled surface or similar smooth surface, that will work too. Other places could be a glass window or the side of a fridge or washer machine. Who knows? You could use this to have standing sex in all sorts of places in the house!
Once you have it stuck on, and hopefully have not hurt yourself, you are good to go! I first used it while shaving and I am super glad I tried that before sex! I was not even really leaning on it much and it totally slide down. I almost wiped myself out! You can totally rest your foot on it, but leaning into it to put weight onto it is out of the question. It can and probably will slip. It does help though! I am not holding my dead leg weight up completely and it makes it more comfortable.
So for sex, because I knew of the potential danger, I used it more for a prop up than a lean over with my leg leaning into a ledge. My partner also held onto my thigh from underneath and I felt secure. The way we did it never caused slipping. We only thought of the one position-leg up. There really isn't anything else to do with this for sex. You could put it higher and hold onto it with a hand I suppose.
It comes in a very not discreet white, cardboard box, with pictures of a naked couple (not showing graphic bits) using the product. The box has directions on the side and inside is a little fold out of other similar products. I threw the box away since it was so obvious and it isn't really needed.
Mine is still stark white, but I imagine that it could get scum on it eventually. You can spray it with a part bleach bathroom cleaner to make it look good as new and kill all the germies! It is easy to remove from what you suction it too as well.
Follow-up commentaryI don't like it anymore2 months after original review
This is more of a pain in the butt than anything else. I still have it in our shower, but have gotten so pissed off about it sliding that I keep it right above the lip of the tub so it cannot slide down anymore. I'd prefer to have it higher for shaving, but I have grown accustomed to it in that position. It is a good height for sex though. We have a shower that has no tiles. There are no breaks in the material, so I cannot blame the sliding on that. Buy at your own gamble.
