The liberator combo is absolutely wonderful! The uses are as varied as your imagination. Individually, each has several uses, and together you can find even more. Using just the larger wedge, you can do things like doggie style, raising someone's downstairs region up for oral, and use it as something to lean back on to keep your head raised up some. Using the smaller wedge alone, you can place it under the woman's butt to raise things up (for edge of the bed, missionary, oral and many more positions), under the woman's hip when laying on her stomach, and as a pillow raising someone's head. Using both together, you can do even better doggie style by stacking the 2 wedges to form almost a square shape, or you can raise both the head and the butt at the same time, and as many more positions as you can imagine!

The design is fantastic. The padding is nice and firm to hold any weight you put on it, but soft enough to be very inviting. You don't have to worry about it flattening out on you, instead it gives just the right amount.

Visually the piece is very appealing. The black fabric not only feels nice, but also looks great. Also, we were worried that the zippers would get in the way, but we have NEVER had a problem with it, or even noticed it during use.

The liberator is a layer of foam, covered with one layer of a slick windbreaker type material, and an outer layer of the smooth cloth like fabric. The foam itself is a white sturdy foam material that bounces back from being pressed in. The first covering of the windbreaker type material is smooth feeling and likely water repellent but probably not totally water-proof. It zips on and off of the foam material fairly easily. On top of that is the cloth type fabric which is very soft and smooth to the touch. It feels great and it zips on over the windbreaker layer. This layer is also very easy to take off and put back on.

The cloth material is both soft and velvety, but perhaps the coolest and most unique thing about this piece is that the cloth really sticks to itself like velcro. What this means is that while you're using the two pieces together, it will stay in place. There's no slipping around here. The wedge's stay where you put them when they're up against each other.

Both layers are durable and machine washable. However I wouldn't put either of them in the dryer, just to avoid any problem with them shrinking.

The larger piece measure out at about 23 inches wide, 12 inches tall, and 28 inches long. It also weighs about 6.5 pounds. The smaller wedge is about 23 inches wide, 7 inches tall, and 12.5 inches long. The smaller one weighs about 3 pounds.

This piece stands up to the pressure of putting your weight on it (our combined weight is 280 pounds). Since it's sturdy, you can really lean on it a lot comfortably. And while it does give a little, it will serve it's purpose holding you up and be comfortable at the same time. You can lay on it a certain way for a long while, then if you want to switch things up it will bounce right back and be good as new for any other position or use.

The fabric is still as soft and smooth as it has ever been despite the fact that we've owned it for about a year. Also the foam has stood up to usage for a year. it still feels as firm and works just as well as the first day we bought it.

When you set it up in the position that you want, the material will help make sure it's stays in place. This has proven to be one of the greatest features of the wedge. You put it where you want it, get in position, and forget about it. We've never had it shift on us mid-use.

The maintenance for this position pillow is really easy. All you have to do is unzip the outer fabric and throw it in the washing machine. Again though, I would avoid putting it in the dryer for fear of it shrinking. To avoid this, all we do is let it air dry after we wash it.

To store the piece, you MAY be able to slide both pieces under the bed under the bed. However we have a lower sitting bed and can only fit the smaller wedge under the bed. As a result, what we do is put the smaller wedge under the bed and have the larger wedge in the closet near the bed. It really isn't an inconvenience to store it like that for us either. All we do is grab it when needed, and put it back up (or wash it) right afterwards. However, if you are trying to hide it from a roommate or someone you live with, you're probably going to have a tough time.

Positions my wife and I have especially enjoyed while using the liberator (there are MANY positions you can do with the liberator, but these are my FAVORITE positions using the wedges):

Doggie: the wedges really help with this one. My wife used to like to have pillows underneath her torso, but now she greatly prefers the liberator to serve that purpose because they are MUCH firmer than using pillows. For her, using the liberator this way means that doggie style is much more comfortable because she doesn't move around as much.

Edge of the bed: we use the smaller wedge for this one. The angle is much better using the liberator. Also, it's great for taller men who have to bend their knees to get to the right level during edge of the bed sex. With the smaller wedge, my wife's bottom is lifted much higher off of the bed during intercourse (which means my knees are a LOT happier)

Oral sex on her: my wife prefers oral sex in the 69 position with her legs pretty close together. Even though the result is worth it, it can be very hard to breathe sometimes. While experimenting with the smaller wedge under her bottom during oral sex, I've found that it helps me breath much better! Wifey also enjoys having the lower end raised during oral sex. It makes things sexier.
