Male condom discontinued

Overpriced and falls short on promise

So during the time when I needed to use condoms with my ex-girlfriend I gave these a try. They may not be my favorite; however, they are definitely better than most condoms I've tried in providing you the ability to feel more sensation during sex. They don't do a great job of transmitting body heat but otherwise are a good condom. They also aren't made of latex for those of you who have an allergy to latex.

So I rarely use condoms once I'm in an established long term relationship unless my partner gets sick and can't take their birth control pills (happened with my current girlfriend). My ex-girlfriend ended up getting an IUD so she didn't have to mess with pills or rings. Anyway, that aside my penis is not very sensitive so ultra thin or ultra sensitive condoms are a must for me to feel anything while using them. I tried the Durex Avanti Bare in hopes that it would feel even less noticeable than the Durex Extra Sensitive condoms that were my favorite at the time I tried these. They were sold as offering a "next-to-nothing feel".

The Durex Avanti Bare condoms are made of polyisoprene vs latex, so if you have a Latex allergy these are an option for you. The material is softer and more flexible than latex, which is why they posit that it'll provide a more natural feel. The thin flexible material does make it easy to feel more of the sexual experience; however, it doesn't do a good job transmitting body heat so fall short in this aspect compared to the Durex Extra Sensitive or Invisible condoms.

The condoms are smooth and offer no discernible texture. They also don't have any noticeable odor or taste either. They are lubricated; however, this lubricant like that of most condoms doesn't last very long so if you or your partner don't have much natural lubricant you will likely need to apply more before or during use.

I was hesitant to use a condom not made of latex and definitely spent a lot of time researching this condom and material before giving them a try. I was not worried about STIs with my partner; however, was worried at how effective they were at preventing pregnancy compared to that of latex condoms. Everything I could find indicated these condoms were just as effective at both preventing STIs and pregnancy as that of conventional condoms.

The condoms were built well and none came defective in packages, broke while putting them on or during extended usage. I may have not enjoyed them as much as my favorite condom at the time; however, they got the job done and I didn't have any worry about them failing with proper use while I used them. They also made sex feel better than cheaper more conventional condoms.

This isn't bad at that, but the Durex Invisible is hands down the best I've found so far... Their ultra sensitive isn't bad either. But these are pretty good if you can't use latex.
