We own a several pieces of Liberator gear, from an Esse to the cube and many in between. What we didn't have was something slightly more "travel" friendly. Enter the the Jaz! Unique to the Jaz is of course its size. It's just wide enough to support average hips (15"), and has a rise to 6". We found it perfect for two things... fitting comfortably in to our large suitcase without pusing that 50 pound limit, and fitting comfortably underneath each other to elevate your pelvis upward to the perfect serving position. As mentioned, we own several Liberator pieces, and have found position to being a great way to increase... well, everything! And unlike a pillow (sure, there's plenty of those in hotels) the Jaz doesn't squash back down when you're moving around (effectively requiring two or three pillows), and is easily cleaned thanks to Liberators great cover designs (unlike the pillow you might have to sleep with your head on).




What makes Liberator shapes so great? Well, to start they have two liners: an incredibly soft and plush micro-suede cover that easily zips-off, and is safe for machine washing, and then a soft polyester water resistant liner that actually covers the shape (keeping any "liquids" from getting to the inards of the shape). And about the inards... the shape is made of a high density memory foam, which makes it very comfortable (somewhat soft) to rest on, but also retains its shape very well. Unlike a mattress (or the like), it has just the right amount of give, making it incredibly comfortable, but also a great amount of rigidity (hence retaining its designed shape).

Our favorite part about the Jaz, other than the really convenient travel size, is that it's compact and light enough to quickly move around. When on trips and using the Jaz, we frequently go between using the shape and then setting it aside (and back and forth again), and becuase it's a great size, it's easy to pull out from under and move to the size, without being in the way but definitely still close to grab again. Much better than the ramp or wedge for taking places.

I recently went through our collection of Liberator pieces, in an effort to start clearing out the lesser used stuff. The Jaz is definitely staying... we travel with it (always when driving, and usually when flying) because it's the perfect size. It just elevates your hips to the perfect angle, and works perfectly... everywhere! Hides easily (in a drawer or closet nearby.) is so light... I just can't say enough good about the Jaz. So sad Eden doesn't usually have them any more.
