Looking for Smething a Little More Intense?
This is a fantastic introductory toy to more intense bondage. While the cuffs are not moveable along the bar, the spacing is adequate as it is.

Pros
Easy to put on and take off, comfortable material.
Cons
Cuffs are permanently in place.
A spreader bar is a fantastic, inexpensive investment if you're looking for something "bondage-y" that's just a little more...intense. This bar is 24" long, and has two velcro cuffs on the ends for your or your partner's ankles, and two closer together on the bar for your (or their) wrists. The bar is immobilizing without having to worry about losing a key or something jamming.
You can strap down all four extremities at once with this bar, or you can strap down only the ankles, or only the wrists (or a combination of ankles and wrists). The possibilities with this bar are endless. The bar is made of soft neoprene and is covered with nylon. The material is fairly comfortable, but you definitely need to be flexible. The bar inside of the nylon cover is a very bendable metal. It is not bendy enough to allow you a lot of movement, but it does allow you some wiggle-room if necessary. The velcro straps are truly one size fits all. I have small ankles and wrists and have no problem with an excess of fabric. Any extra tucks neatly underneath the cuffs.
The velcro allows you to quickly and easily put the bar into place, but the placement of the cuffs makes it so you are unable to reach and undo them, once you are secured in them. The bar is sturdy enough that your partner can maneuver you around by grabbing it; it will bend but will not break. I have not, as of yet, noticed any wear to the nylon or the stitching around the cuffs and the inner bar.
The bar comes in a standard Sportsheets purple and white box, with a model demonstrating some of the possibilities for using it on the front and the back. It is not discreet, and is simply made of cardboard so my boyfriend and I threw it away. We store the bar pressed up against a wall. The cuffs' materials make this fairly easy.
The spreader bar should not get all that dirty; however, it can easily be wiped clean with a soapy cloth if it does get soiled.
