Ok, as I previously posted in a comment on Bulma’s review|Off with their head silicone hitachi cap, this thing reminds me of Darth Vader’s helmet. Not that that is really a bad thing for a sci-fi geek like I am, just had to get that out of the way.

It is, however, a Vader helmet that is designed to mimic the sensations of oral sex. Ok, so that can not be a bad thing, right? Time to pull out the Hitachi light saber and try this one out!

My general first impression of Off With Their Head|Off with their head silicone hitachi cap was that it was much smaller than I had originally though, and a whole lot softer than I would have imagined from the appearance. The silicone is silky smooth and very flexible! The reason it is so small is it is not designed to fit OVER the Hitachi head, but rather to replace it. I was kind of nervous about pulling the ball head off my Hitachi (though it does come with directions), but a firm grip and a few twists and tugs and it came right off. The Off With Their Head slid perfectly into place and fit the Hitachi|Hitachi vibrator firmly.

The Off With Their Head features two distinctly different sides. The “front” is lined with three prominent horizontal fin-like protrusions (they are too prominent and flexible to be called ribs); the “back” features a heft ridge with a mini-tongue-like protrusion at the bottom. Since this toy is supposed to mimic oral sex, I lubed up a bit (no dry “tongues” for me, thank you!) and turned it on.

This attachment diffuses the vibrations of the Hitachi well enough that I was able to use it on high speed comfortably, which is rare for me. I started out with the “mini-tongue” side, and let it “lick” around my labia and clit. I have read that making this toy feel like oral sex requires moving it around a bit, so I kept it in a slow, rhythmic motion. It felt good, but not like oral sex, really. (I still recommend the Mini Tongue vibe|Mini tongue vibrator for a really lifelike oral-sex experience!)

Undaunted, I turned the wand around--hey, three little tongues must be better than one, right? This side of the toy was far more to my liking. I had the nice fluttery vibrations from the three fins, and was able to stroke them up and down my clit and labia while they vibrated. Very nice! Again, the attachment lessened the vibrations of the Hitachi somewhat, but I had no trouble at all reaching orgasm on the high speed using this toy.

Removing it was even easier than putting it on--basically I just pulled it off and pushed the original Hitachi ball back on. Clean up was a snap with my Before and After Toy Cleaner--just make sure to clean between the ridges! This quality Vixen product is 100% silicone, and thus can be boiled, run through the dishwasher (top rack, no soap), or wiped down with a 10% bleach solution in order to sterilize it.

Despite being slightly more difficult to attach than most other Hitachi heads, this one will see frequent use in my bedroom! It combines the awesome power of the Hitachi with multiple, wonderful, vibrating “tongues”!
