The Sex in the Shower dual locking suction handle is a mouthful. This shower handle is designed to make shower sex a bit easier and help in positioning. It can also have non sexy functions such as acting as an impromptu shower shelf and an overall support aid while showering. This product can work for anyone who wants a balance/support aid in the shower. However, I wouldn't make this a main support if using it. It's best to have a backup such as a permanent handle or a partner (you can never be too careful).

If you have medium to larger tiles or a smooth surface in the shower, then this will work for you. This might not work if you have a small tile on your shower since the suction cups need a smooth surface.

Once you take off the packaging, this handle looks nothing like a sex aid; it looks like a large phone. It is discreet and you can even leave it in the shower.

The handle is made mostly of plastic. The plastic is solid and smooth, but it feels like most of the handle is hollow (it would be heavier otherwise). The suction cups are made of rubber. Inside the handle is a metal spring. If anything were to go on this handle, I would think that the spring could rust up and degrade. This could be avoided by making sure the metal inside doesn't remain wet.

The handle is larger than anticipated. It is almost a foot long. The handle is comfortable to grab. There are not sharp edges that would dig into your skin.

It's important to note that you can't have sex with wild abandon if depending on this handle. Or if you do, make sure your partner is prepared to catch you if something malfunctions. There is no stated weight limit on this handle. I have been able to place most of my body weight, at 135, on it and it has held up. Still, I only use this handle as a secondary or additional support. I do not use it for suspension or such. It is something to hold onto instead of squeezing the life out of your partner (that's always fun, though). Because of the nature of the product, it's best to always be aware of it and be prepared if it malfunctions. Having grips at the bottom of the tub are a good addition as well.

Stil, so long as your cautious, this toy works well. It also double as a mini shower shelf if you need room for shampoo. It can also steady you if your washing your face with your eyes closed and want some support or if the shower floor is especially slippery. It is multi-use, which is a great plus.



The handle is easy to use. First, make sure the surface your using and the suction cups are clean. Then press the handle firmly to the wall and then close the tabs on either side of the handle. Check that it is firmly placed. If you have tiles, make sure each suction cup is on the center of each tile. If you have very small tiling then this handle may not work for you (ineffective grip). Then handle also works on smooth surfaces like glass and acrylic as well as smooth granite.

I guess if the worst thing about the product is packaging, you shouldn't complain. Then again, you should know what you're getting into purchasing anything from Sportsheets; almost all of their products are packaged in a raunchy manner. The shower handle is no different. It shows a couple having implied intercourse on the box. They both are suggested to be nude and the woman's breasts are completely out. So it's a 0/10 for discretion. If gifting this, I would put it in a different box or a gift bag and gift it as a shower handle (people can be creative and figure out all the uses, after all).

There are limited instructions on the box. There is a paper insert in the box, but it just advertises all the Sex in the Shower toys. There are instructions on the shower handle itself. It says "check if totally secure before use."



The box is not designed for storage. Again, once out of the box this looks like a functional handle and nothing sex related. It can be left around with little to no suspicion.

Cleaning the handle is a cinch. If the suction cups get dirty, simply wipe them down with a damp cloth. f you leave it in the shower, just make sure you leave the bathroom door open the the handle can air dry. The handle is made of plastic and rubber, so it shouldn't wear too much. There are metal spring inside the handle, they don't appear to get wet when the suction is engaged. We also don't have the handle in direct contact with the shower.

Once out of the packaging, this handle doesn't look like anything sexy. In fact, it looks like a geriatric phone. It can be stored about anywhere. If questions are asked about it, say it's a handle you haven't put up in the bathroom yet or it's a shelf to be.

I have had this handle on and off my wishlist for about a year. The concept seemed cool and useful, but I always worried about it working well. With my luck, I figured that if 1 out of 1 million people who used it fell, then I would be that "lucky" individual. That's what kept me from purchasing it. What made me decide to bite the bullet was when my partner expressed interest. If he expresses interest in any sexy item I buy it in a heartbeat (positive reinforcement and all that). So it arrived.

Mostly, this handle is used to hold a shampoo bottle or two. I works well, especially when you have limited shelving space in the shower. Sometimes we'll use it for it's more intimate purpose. We don't engage in shower sex but enjoy the foreplay. We have also used this handle with the suction handcuffs. The combination works well and makes me feel a little less paranoid since the weight is distributed a bit more. I never put all me weight on the handle, even if it would hold. I'm too scared of falling. I also have a back up since my partner usually has a good grasp of my hips in those situations.

Given the price, though, I still count it a worthy purchase.
