If at first you dont succeed, try, try again, but if you try again and its still junk...
The ToiTissue is a poor attempt at a great idea. I love the idea of a tissue holder with a hidden compartment for toys but unfortunately it showed up with a bad finish that obviously left the factory that way. The box also has a small hidden compartment that leaves you with limited options on what you can hide. This toy has potential but is presented very poorly. Hopefully they will put some time into the design and manufacturing but until then this will be a good product to pass on by.

Pros
Dispenses tissues, great to hide your condoms and bullets...
Cons
Bad finish, bad design and too small to be useful...
To start off with, this is not my first product from ToiBocks. I feel I have to mention that because I want to explain the title of my review. My first ToiBocks product was its most famous product, aptly called the ToiBocks. (That review can be found here: https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-toy-reviews/sex-furniture/great-idea-but-could-use-some-finesse ) In that review I state that the product I received arrived damaged and that the damage had nothing to do with the product's packaging or delivery. I came to the conclusion that the product most likely was a victim of a poor finish due to poor quality control but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and chalked the product up to possibly being a Friday afternoon quality control slip. I love products made of wood with hidden compartments for storage. So I decided to let my first experience with the company slide by and I ordered the ToiTissue. Well, I really feel like "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me".
The ToiTissue is shipped in a regular cardboard box. The ToiTissue arrived wrapped in plastic and surrounded with molded foam to prevent shipping damage. Rubber stick on feet are included with the box to prevent the box from moving around on slippery surfaces.
Once the ToiTissue had been removed from its packaging I saw right away that this had massive quality control issues with its finish. I found that the seams of the wood on the back side of the box almost appeared to have been split open from force leaving a gap between the two pieces. I could follow this seam around two major visible ends of the box. I wanted the product, and chose not to send it back and get another one that was just as poorly constructed, so I ended up repairing it myself in my workshop.
In the end I used some wood filler, sandpaper, and some wood stain to make the box look right. The problem is if the box was being sold for 30-40 dollars this might be a pain you are willing to take on, but when you pay $69.99 plus shipping for a finished wooden box you fully expect the product to be in excellent shape when you receive it.
The box is brown in color and it has a length of 9 1/4 inches and a width of 5 inches. It stands at a height of 4 inches and weighs about 3 pounds. Now the biggest problem the secretary and I have with the box is that it is simply too small. The secret compartment is barely big enough to hold some condoms, a cock ring, and some bullet vibes. The tray has a depth of 1 1/4 inches and a length of 8 inches and has a width of 3 1/2 inches.
Another advertised big thing about this toy is the fact that it has a "secret compartment". I had to make modifications to make sure the box stayed closed and "secret" when tilted at any angle. They include "Shims" made out of felt to assist you in creating the friction you need to keep the box closed and honestly it just does not work. I ended up using the felt side of industrial Velcro to get the perfect tight fit on the hidden tray. How can you consider a box to have a secret compartment when it doesn't even stay closed when it is picked up from the dresser?
If they were trying to go for that old time hand made look I guess they pulled it off, but I would expect the box to be perfect for the price it is offered at. The imperfections are also in the dimensions of the box and also continues into the secret compartment as the trap door is uneven and only matches the end of the box slightly. You will without a doubt see a slight seam and the seam appears to be almost be an uneven angle. When put together, I feel that it might be hard to pass this product as being just a plain tissue box.
In the end, shame on you ToiBocks! I gave you guys the benefit of the doubt and repaired my first ToiBocks product hoping that the issues I saw were not typical of your products. Instead, I have found that my second product arrived just the same if not worse than the first one. I hope that everyone else takes my warnings into consideration before spending their hard earned money on a product that has little or no quality control.

Experience
We have found so far that we have really been sitting around thinking of what we could fit in the ToiTissue to actually make some use out of it. We have put our bullets, rings and lubes into the ToiTissue but that is about all we could think of to use the box for. It really is a shame because I was hoping to be able to put some bigger things into the box. I mean if you are looking for something to hide your condoms this would be a great toy if it wasn't for the quality of the thing. We don't really use it for condoms and we rarely use bullets and we use our Tor so much it usually stays in our ToiBocks so it really doesn't get that much usage. I wish that the secret compartment could have been bigger and that the quality of the toy could have been better so that I would have loved it as much as I had hoped I would. This product has fully turned me off from ToiBocks and I am not happy about it at all. I was hoping that I would have found a cool little company that made cool little pieces of furniture that hid things. I am all about things like that. I can't justify spending money on something that I have to spend some time working on myself. I loved the idea and design of the ToiTissue but the execution of the box was so poor, I won't spend another dime on their products again.
Follow-up commentary
1 month after original review
Well its been a while since we last spoke about the ToiTissue. Honestly... I am still just not into it at all. As far as a tissue box goes it really is turning out to be handy but lets be honest who really needs a tissue box. They come in a box already that usually is easier to use than anything you would have to put tissues in manually. Since I fixed the corners and refinished the edges I do get a kick out of how it turned out since I am the one that fixed it and I am nowhere near an expert. As far as it storing things, it just still doesn't cut the mustard. I cant fit anything in there unless its a small bottle of lube of some of our rings. Just to give you an idea I needed a quick safe place to store a watch I have because we were going out and I did not feel like opening my safe to put it in. I tried to jam it in the bottom of the ToiTissue and I couldn't get it to fit. Eventually I just jammed the watch into the portion on the top where the tissues to go because I got so frustrated. If you cant fit a watch with a continuous clasp into the ToiTissue how can you really use it to store toys. I don't know, maybe I expected too much of it. I think it probably would have been better if I had been able to see one and touch it before I had ordered it. Oh well I don't mind having it around, I kind of like it for what it is but I think I will look at some other companies for toy storage.
