For Condoms and More!
The condom cube is a classy-looking way to store up to twelve condoms in your room, without anyone suspecting what's inside. And if your bedroom time includes sex toys, you may find them useful for storing a few other things as well.

Pros
Stylish and convenient condom storage.
Cons
Not all condom brands fit well.
We purchased our first condom cube, because we wanted to have condoms close at hand when trying out new toys. We didn't particularly want a box of them laying on the headboard in our otherwise stylish bedroom. As soon as we saw the condom cube, we knew it was exactly what we needed. After pondering the many color choices available, we chose the black with red faux crocodile cover to match our decor.
The condom cube came packaged in nothing more than a clear cellophane film, wrapped much like a Christmas present. This was plenty enough to keep it safe during shipping, but if you plan to give one as a gift you may want to look for a box for it.
On first inspection, it was impressive how much the vinyl faux leather cube actually felt like real leather. It was soft, supple, and with just a slight texture to it. The construction appears to be a combination of stitching and industrial adhesive, and includes a dual layer that runs from the bottom, up the back, and over the top for added strength. Though the cube is lightweight, it's quite durable with is little to no flexing when you grip the sides, so you won't have to treat it with kid gloves.
One of the best features of the condom cube is the magnetic flap closure. Not only is this super convenient when you're trying to retrieve a condom one-handed, it also proved useful when Alan dropped the cube after filling it; the magnet snapped the top shut before the cube hit the floor, so we had no mess to pick up.
In general, the condom cube holds twelve condoms, which we found to be true for both the Durex Avanti and the Naturalamb brands. However, our Trojan Supras come in a bit larger foil pack, and we could only fit 6 of them in by angling them sideways (corner to corner) and smashing the edges down a bit. In other words you will not get all brands of condoms to fit twelve in the cube. We didn't have any other kinds available to try, but you can measure the width of one of your foil packs to get an idea of how it will work for you: if your condom foils measure 2-1/4" wide or less, you'll fit twelve of them in here.
One suggestion we have for use is to put your condoms in an upright position in the cube rather than laying them flat, because it's *much* easier to get them back out when they're upright.
We actually have three condom cubes now; one for condoms, one for spare batteries, and one for spare bullet vibes, arranged neatly across our headboard. They look great, and it's definitely convenient for us during those long play sessions. You can fit nine standard-sized bullets in one cube, or an assortment of AA, AAA, and watch batteries so you'll be prepared if your favorite vibe peters out. Oh, and if you happen to get a little lube or something on your condom cube, all you need is a damp rag with a bit of soap and it wipes right off!
The only thing that could make the condom cube better is if they added about 1/4" more to the size, so we could store more of the larger-packaged condoms in them. But even so, we've been quite pleased with our cubes overall.

Follow-up commentary
20 months after original review
We've had these for almost two years now and they're just as useful and nice-looking as when we got them. We did have an incident with one of the cubes a couple of months ago where the top layer of vinyl separated from the bottom on the lid, but that was easily remedied with a little Super Glue. That may have been our fault too since it got more sunlight than the others, which could have weakened the original adhesive, but either way it's right and tight now.

Good idea to use this for batteries!

Thanks

Thanks for mentioning the size of condoms that fit. My guy is large and our condoms are XL or XXL so they wouldn't fit

Too bad our condoms won't fit it there, I kinda like it. Good review.

Thank you for the review. My husband and I do not use condoms, but I love that this can be useful in other ways.
