Egg Hunts Aren't Just For Easter, Anymore
At such a reasonable price, these are well worth the experiment to see if kegel exercisers would benefit you. You don't risk a big investment in them and they're easily stored in their pouch.

Pros
Smooth, pretty, not overly expensive
Cons
Bad feeling if left in too long
I've always been curious about kegel exercises. I've always been curious if I was doing them correctly, because it seemed like there were multiple sets of muscles down there and I could never be sure which ones were the ones I was supposed to be exercising. I decided to try using kegel exercisers. I figured, what's it going to hurt, you know? These Crystal glass eggs from Nsnovelties really pinpointed exactly which muscles they are. It was immediately apparent, as soon as I inserted them, that they really would require effort to keep them in and a surprising amount of awareness.
They're about 2 inches long each, and surprisingly heavier than I thought they'd be. They come packaged in a plastic tray inside a small cardboard box with clear windows, to let you see the eggs. They also come with a little satin drawstring bag to store them in, which I loved. I love it when products come with storage to help keep them clean and protected. It was nice to see the box wasn't overly big and a waste of material.
Because I had no previous experience with anything like this, I decided to wear panties as a precaution, in case they fell out; they did not, thank goodness. But, if I had a lapse in concentration while I was busy doing stuff around the house, I could feel them move and with a concerted effort, I could squeeze and reposition them.
They were easy to insert. I inserted them just like I do my tampons. I stood with one foot up on the toilet and pushed them in with the narrow point upward with one right behind the other. Each egg is made of Thermal glass and was handmade by a glass craftsman. They're very smooth and very hard, and non-porous so cleaning them is very easy; all you need is warm water and antibacterial soap. Pat them dry with a towel and make sure they're completely dry before storing them in the drawstring bag; it's very easy.
I was worried that I wouldn't be able to remove them, but it was easier than I thought it would be. I, again, stood with my foot on the toilet and reached down and sort of inserted my finger. I could feel them and then I pushed with my muscles to expel them and I scooped them out with my finger. That's all it took.
Inside the packaging, there is a little pamphlet of information. It contains some information about the glass used, a diagram showing you how to insert them, and what the proper positioning of them is. It also gives instructions for use: "The time required is quite short. You only need to do the exercise about 4 to 8 minutes per session and about 2 to 3 sessions daily. Suggested times are after each meal and prior to bedtime." It also suggests, after practicing your kegel muscle exercises, to try doing kegels before and during your orgasm, when you masturbate and during intercourse.
I got busy messing around doing things in my kitchen and didn't pay attention to the time; consequently, I left them in longer than the 4 to 8 minutes recommended and I did notice that I felt ucky after that long. It's the same feeling I get when a tampon has been in too long, and as soon as I removed them I felt better. There were no lasting effects.
These seem really easy to use and I think anyone could use them. I don't know if I'll be disciplined enough to use them 2 to 3 times a day, but even using them occasionally when I remember to has to have benefits, I would think.

I have been using these too, and don't care for them. They're not near as effective as the actual weighted balls like the mini luna beads, so I'm kind of disappointed. Basically, they're turning out to be little more than a cute egg for me. Do you think they're effective for your own kegel exercizes or are they not seeming to really make you work those muscles either? That's how I feel with them, but I'm not sure. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the review the wife has been looking at the off and on. She wants to get some sort of kegel exerciser after she gives birth, but we just don't have much experience with them. That and the ones without strings seem somewhat scary to remove. Thank You for the review appreciate the description of the experience you had.
