Beautiful design, poor execution
A lovely display piece to keep those favorite toys within reach but not the most discreet option, lock is easily broken.

Pros
Beautiful, functional
Cons
Not discreet
I recently purchased the Red Croco Toy Box from Devine. It came packaged only in a plastic sleeve with no care insturctions, just a Devine tag wrapped around the lid tether. The box itself is quite lovely to look at with the contrasting faux crocodile red top and black side panels and has a nice lining on the inside that I've found can be easily cleaned with a wet cloth. It holds a lot, so someone with a small toy collection or someone who likes their favorites within easy reach will enjoy this box.
My biggest complaint so far is with the lock. The lock and two keys came wrapped up together inside the box. The very first time I unlocked the lock to put it on the box the key became stuck inside it, rendering it useless. This really isn't a drawback for me because my partner and I live alone, but someone who wants a toy box for discretion should steer clear of this one. The hook that the lock is supposed to go in will flip up or down securing the lid so the toys will be secured if it gets knocked over.
Also, the tether on the lid will keep it from staying open, which I find to be a minor nuisance since I have to hold the lid open with one hand retrieving something from the box requires two hands. Since the lock was just a decorative piece for me, I LOVE my Devine toy box and have it on my nightstand with my favorite solo toys, but if you need discretion this is not the toy box for you. It is beautiful and certainly serves its purpose as a toy box but the few problems I encountered will probably keep me from buying another.
