Putting the swing back in the box was difficult. I do not recommend restoring it in the original package. It is a bit of a headache. The entire swing (other than the eyelet) can be taken down and fits in a dresser drawer, closet, or trunk easily. The package can be recycled.

The swing is very easy to care for. If it happens to get dirty, it can be wiped down with a wet soapy cloth and then allowed to air dry.
