Body butters are thicker than regular lotions and usually work best on dry skin. I have been using body butters to moisturize my skin for a long time. This particular body butter, Dona Goji Berry Body Butter, is thinner than my usual brand. I am used to butters being very thick almost like real butter. This is creamier and a tad bit greasier than my normal fare. I was skeptical at first. However, it still works wonderfully. The body butter is a creamy white with a tinge of pink. It only takes a little bit to moisturize hands and arms up to my elbows. Initially it does feel a bit greasy, but it absorbs into the skin quickly and does not leave a greasy residue. It softens everywhere it touches and leaves a wonderful scent behind.
The scent is strong, but not overpowering. I had never heard of Goji Berries but apparently they are native to China and are usually consumed when dried like raisins. I don't know if dried goji berries smell this delicious, but I really like the scent. It's a light fruity aroma that lasts a long time. The label claims it has aphrodisiac powers. I think that might be stretching the truth a bit. It will leave you smelling great though, and that just might attract a mate. It couldn't hurt, anyway. The body butter also is available is these scents: Mangosteen, Blue Lotus, Pomegranate, Acai, and Camu Camu.
It's a five ounce tub. I wish it contained more. My normal brand comes in a 7 oz tub and costs a bit less so this is pricier. I always check price/unit on everything I buy. I guess I'm a number nerd and I like knowing I'm getting a deal. This is higher than I normal pay, but it was a nice change of pace. I would buy it again, but probably only if it was on sale. (Just being honest here.) It worked surprisingly well, so I have no complaints there.
I have not had any adverse reactions to this product, but my skin is not especially sensitive. Be sure and read through the ingredients if you have allergies or sensitive skin.

Experience
My elbows mutiny on me every single winter and my best defense is a good body butter several times a day. I have been using this for a couple of months and my elbows love it. I usually go for nutty scents like Brazilian nut or Hazelnut. Sometimes I go crazy and get coconut-lime. So this fruity scent was quite different for me. At first I thought it might be too overpowering for me, but I found that it was just perfect. It's a strong scent at first, but after a few minutes just a light lingering fragrance remains. I love how my skin feels after using this.
