Yay for the Massager-Nothing else.
This is a nice kit for beginners, but wouldn't recommend anything in it (other than the toy itself) to anyone that has experience behind basic massaging. The cream didn't have any scent to it hardly at all and the tea lights burn pretty fast. The toy was great though. May not suit larger hands.

Pros
"All in one" romance kit, the massager feels great
Cons
The cream was thin, no scent, tea lights burn fast
The Romantic Massage kit comes in a nice, square box, filled with all your "needs" for a nice massage. My wife purchased this set just for the massager toy that was in it. Rightfully so, too. The rest of the items inside of the box, we found, to be less than desired.
Inside the package you will find a sturdy, plastic, hand massager, two small, white tea lights with plastic, clear holders, a bottle of massage cream and a pamphlet on different massage techniques. This would make a great "starter kit" for someone that is just wanting to have something to set aside for "in the event" type massages. This wouldn't be ideal for someone that is giving them regularly or is more advanced with massages though. Or so I would think.
The 2 ounce massage lotion that comes in the kit, I didn't like. It didn't have any smell to it at all. Unless my nose is just not what it used to be. The label reads "Coconut/passion fruit" but I couldn't tell either way. The lotion felt very dry to me. It didn't stick around very long. It absorbs into the skin pretty quick. Which I suppose, for some, may be a good thing. For massages though, I don't find this to be a very great quality. Its very thin.
The ingredients for the massage cream are: Aqua(Water), Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Olive Oil (Olea Europea), Manuka Oil (Leptospermum Scoparium, Parfum (Fragrance), Benzyl Salicylate, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Hexyl Cinnamal, Alpha Isomethylionone, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Linalool, Phenoxethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben.
The tea lights are your average, paraffin wax tea light candles with white wicks and clear, plastic containers. Nothing special about these and they burn VERY quickly. I think we got about less than an hour out of them, and that is pushing it.
The Massage guide that comes with the package wasn't anything to rant and rave about either. I read through some of the things in it, and realized I already knew half of the stuff that it was saying.
The massager toy is pretty neat. There are a few different ways that it can be held comfortably, so it gives you a little variety in the way you use it. If you have larger hands, it may not work the best for you. I found that it was rather hard to hold it because of the balls that come around the sides. It dug into my hands. The massager has four, rounded ball type ends to it. The bar in the center is for grasping. Two balls on the one side are larger and the two on the other end are smaller. This makes for a decent variety of "feel" to the massage. Because the larger balls on this are spaced further apart, you can cover a wider area at once. The smaller balls on this massager toy are spaced closer together, making for a more "pin point" stimulation.

Although this is a massager that is mainly aimed at back massages or "mid body" massages, I found that this also works as a great foot massager. If you use the balls to press into the bottoms of your feet, it really does work well to dig into your feet deeply enough to relieve any pressure or soreness. Add a little bit of foot cream and this makes for a great massage. The other stuff in the kit, still not fond of those.

Thank you for viewing Romantic massage kit – massage kit discontinued review page!
The massager is nice. Its sturdy and works really well. I would say that its about the same quality as what you would find in a bath and body store, for sure. The lotion was "ok"....it wasn't anything amazing and I was really disappointed about the scent too .
I would have to say that if you're using points or a giftcard for it, its worth it. If you're paying cash, I wouldn't. You could always give the extra stuff in it away or just keep it on hand to add to your collection I suppose.
