Wrapped up in love
I grabbed several of the Eden beach towels in a promotional offer last summer. I always smile when I use one. I love the Love Potion design. It's fun and discreet at the same time. I always imagine someone at Eden Fantasys whipping up the Love Potion to send out to customers. The towel isn't as absorbent as I would like, but it manages to get the job done.

The best thing about the Eden beach towel is the size. It is just shy of 5 feet long and 29.5 inches across. That's plenty big to wrap up my plus size body.
The front side is plush while the back is thinner and courser. The background on the front is black. When new it from a distance it looks velvety. The design is in the bright green and pink colors Eden is known for. The color combo is eye catching and attractive. The green and pink pop out at you on the dark background.
I love the design. Eden chose to go with something discreet instead of a blatant sex toy advertisement. At the top is Edenfantasys.com in a green cloud. Under that is what looks like a science experiment for some sort of love potion. Liquid is collected from a heart and collected and processed in a group of vials before being poured in a martini glass with a wedge of lime. I like that it is not overtly sexual in nature. I can use it at the beach or public pool without any embarrassment.
It's a nice size for a beach towel. I am short so it's perfect for me to lie on. It's comfortable and not scratchy. It's nice for lounging with a good book when poolside. It's big enough for two people when sitting. And of course, it wraps my body nicely after a dip in the water.
The drawback to the beach towel is that it is not very absorbent. It does get the job done, but it's just not the same as my usual fluffy bath towels. Because of this, it is at the very bottom of my stack of towels. It only gets used in emergencies. You know like when I "forget" to do the laundry. If I get down to the Eden towel I know I have to do laundry that day. In that way it is my Emergency Warning System for low bath towels.
It is also great for cleaning up small messes. I keep one to use to wipe down the tub and mop up water splashes from the shower. It's large size makes quick work of that. They are discontinued now. But if Eden ever brought them back as a promotional offer, I would grab another.
The towel is 100% cotton. I wash it in the machine with my other towels. A tag indicates not to use bleach or iron the towel. I have owned my towels for nearly a year now. After repeated washings the black is muted. There has been some shedding. For a free promotional offer it has been great.

Great review, I have about 8 of these myself. They're too small for me as a beach towel but I have other uses for them.
