What's So Bad About A Placebo?
Although the science of pheromones is iffy, I'd still buy this bracelet again. It's trendy because of its design (very similar to the cause bracelets), it's inexpensive, and I like the bright color of the male attractant bracelet. In addition, I liked going to work and wearing this as a reminder of my naughty side. It made me feel like my work place doesn't own me!

Now, many will tell you that scientifically, pheromone-laced items have not been proven to directly change behavior in any study. Essentially, all this hype about this pheromone-infused attractant bracelet could possibly be just that, and any effect may just be based on the placebo-effect. You think you're more attractive to the opposite sex, so you change how you act and maybe even dress, and BOOM! You attract more of the opposite sex. The point I want to make about this is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the placebo effect in this case! Most of us hold a small little thought in the back of our minds that this just might work, and it might cause you to be more social or friendlier, but what's the harm?
Now to the nitty gritty until the experience section, where I promise more fun!
This bracelet is labeled as a 100% pheromone-infused "erotic stimulant."
It defines pheromone as : "A chemical secreted by humans, that influences the behavior or development of others, often functioning as an attractant of the opposite sex." It's right there on the package with no scientific backup, but there nonetheless.
The bracelet is pure silicone, a 10 on the safety scale, and is listed as hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free. Basically this bracelet won't even irritate more sensitive users. The diameter of the bracelet is 3 and 1/2 inches. I will warn you that this bracelet will not fit anything above an average-sized wrist. My wrist fits into the majority of one-size bracelets, but I did have to squeeze it into this one a bit. After five days of taking this off and putting it back on, I did notice a little wear and tear on the bracelet. There were a few small cracks. I have a feeling that this bracelet has a recommended 45 day use because it doesn't withstand much more than that.
The packaging is very simple. This bracelet comes in black and pink packaging, and my bracelet was pink, although I see that the female attractant bracelet is black. The packaging itself is not discreet, but the bracelet is. The words "Evolved World" run across it, but it is in no way obvious to a viewer that it is an erotic stimulant. The packaging is not re-sealable, but if you want to extend the life of the pheromones, you might put this in a plastic bag with the original plastic band insert ( the one that covers the inside of the bracelet upon opening).
While this bracelet may be pheromone-infused, it actually has no scent or taste. It is basically like any of the cause bracelets that you see many individuals wearing (you know, the Live Strong bracelets and such). Even colleges are hopping on board with this kind of bracelet, so you might notice that your accessory doesn't necessarily set you apart from the crowd.

Experience
I wore this bracelet for 5 days in a row after opening it. Although I can't say that it was the pheromones, there were some interesting coincidences.
Day #1: I work in a grocery store, and I've seen a certain male customer in the store at least three or four times before, but we never have really spoken. He ran into me in my apartment hallway, and he stopped me to ask "Don't I know you?" I told him where I worked, and he showed up later that evening and asked me if I wanted to hang out after my shift. Now, this guy is kind of sleazy. This may be a warning that pheromones don't distinguish between attracting desirable or undesirable people. Ha!
Day #2: I locked my keys in the car at a tavern (I was only picking up pizza, I swear!). An extremely attractive man came out, walked to his house across the street, and found the tools to let me into my car. He even made a penis joke. Lesson learned: Lock myself out of my car more often. Was the bracelet to blame?
Day #3: I wore this bracelet out to a walk, and one of my male coworkers approached me and seemed to be more flirtatious than usual. He asked me what my bracelet was for, and I laughed...hysterically. Lesson learned: Be aware that people may thing this is another cause bracelet and ask you what cause you are supporting.
Day #4: I've noticed that at my friend's grad party, I'm sitting in the middle of everyone and doing the majority of the talking. I stayed an hour and a half later than I planned to. Everyone seems to think I'm hilarious. Too bad the majority of these individuals are female. Question: Are you sure this is a male attractant bracelet?
Day #5: Nothing really. I notice that I want to go out more to see if anyone reacts to my bracelet. Perhaps that's part of the placebo effect...I've ventured out more since I've started wearing the bracelet to see if anyone reacts to it, and therefore, I've run into more situations that could be mistaken as reactions to the bracelet.
Overall, I felt that both males and females seemed to approach me more. It doesn't really matter if it was the pheromones or not. I'm pretty happy with the effects regardless. Maybe the neon pink color attracts people too? I did notice that kids seemed to look straight at my bracelet when I was working. It is a rather distracting color in contrast to my blue and black uniform.

Follow-up commentary
15 days after original review
I still like the pheromone bracelet even though I haven't noticed any consistent attractant results. You can definitely see some wear and tear on my bracelet, and I'd say this bracelet won't last through more than 2 months of continual use without some serious damage unless you have tiny wrists. It's essentially like stretching a rubber band over and over and over...eventually it loses elasticity and starts to break down. However, for the price, I still like it. I also like the "Evolved World" imprint. It seems kind of mysterious.
One thing I would change is the color. Pink doesn't go with a lot of what I own, and I'd imagine that it wouldn't be that hard to offer some more color or pattern options. They could even offer more imprints or give it some adult-themed charms. The possibilities of a better bracelet are there. This bracelet is good, but it could easily be great with some variety.
