What Plumping?
Pleasantly Paffuto is an okay lip gloss. It gives my lips lots of shiny and shimmer. It produced a mild tingling sensation on my lips, but did not plump them. The gloss didn't give me any color on my lips, just the shine and shimmer. This does feel good on my lips because it is smooth and slick, not thick and sticky. For what you get, I think the price is too high.

Pros
shiny, smooth, feels good on lips, not sticky
Cons
price, doesn't plump, not much color
Ever since I tried the Belleza Box by Principessa Beauty, I haven’t wanted to try any other products by the company. I found the set I tried overpriced and over-perfumed and most of their products seemed to be the same way. I decided I’d give them one last chance with their plumping lip gloss. I chose the shade Pinkini, which appeared to be a hot pink shade.
The lip gloss comes packaged in a small pale pink cardboard tube. The top of the tube comes off to reveal the tube of lip gloss inside. The outer packaging is cute and very feminine. It lists the ingredients, a basic description of the lip gloss, and a tiny bit of information about the manufacturer. This lip gloss is manufactured in Canada. The ingredients are almost impossible to read on the tube due to the size of each character.
Ingredients:
Polyisobutene, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Beeswax, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Ethyhexyl Palmitate, Myristyl Lactate, Ozokerite, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Myristyl Alcohol, Tribehenin, Palmitoyl, Oligopeptide, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Sodium Hyaluranate, Sorbitan Isostearate, Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Flavor (Aroma), Benxyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, may contain: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Red 7 Lake, Red 33 Lake, Yellow 5 Lake.
Compared to other lip gloss products, this one is somewhat good for your lips. It has shea butter to soften your lips. It does not contain any parabens. If you’re looking for something to make your lips look really healthy, you’d be better off going with a lip balm.
Inside the cardboard tube is the lip gloss. The tube itself is made out of clear glass and contains 0.2 ounces of lip gloss. The screw-off lid is black. Attached to it is a brush. The lip gloss says Principessa on one side and the shade of the gloss on the bottom. I was disappointed in the size of the tube. The whole thing measures 3 ½ inches tall, with half of that (1 ¾ inches) the top/applicator and the other half being the bottom. Usually the bottom portion of lip glosses is larger so you get more lip product.
Like I said before, I ordered the Pinkini shade. I think hot pink looks the best with my skin tone, and this shade was the closest to hot pink I could get. In the tube, it’s a nice deep pink shade with little flecks of Mica in it for shimmer. Once applied, it’s very shiny and almost completely sheer. I was expecting to have more of the pink hue to my lips. I do like that the lip gloss is very shiny when applied and shows some shimmer. It’s not so much shimmer to look like little girl makeup, but it’s enough to accent your lips.
I like the feel of this lip gloss. It feels nice and slick on my lips. I hate the feeling of thick and sticky lip glosses. It sticks on about as long as most lip glosses tend to. Eating and drinking wiped off some of it, but not all of it. After finishing a 12 ounce can of pop, I did need to reapply to get back the shine and shimmer of the gloss.
The lip gloss does have a scent to it. It smells like yummy cake or other sweet treats. It’s not a very strong fragrance. I can barely smell it when applied. Unfortunately, this does not have any flavor to it. It doesn’t taste bad, it tastes like nothing. I would have liked the flavor to match the scent.
This stuff is supposed to plump lips. I’ve tried several lip plumping products so far and have not had any success. Some of them burn really bad, others do absolutely nothing. This one gives me a mild tingling sensation. It’s about as much as that given by minty lip balm. The lip gloss does not give me any plumping, though. Not even a tiny bit.
If you decide to wipe off the lip gloss, a wash cloth and some warm water should do the trick. After washing the lip gloss off, I did not have the tingling sensation or any visual trace of the lip gloss left.

Experience
I think the lip gloss would make a good gift. The packaging is cute and appealing. It’s a bit excessive to have an outer package on a tube of lip gloss, but it can be recycled. This would work well in a cosmetics gift basket or a gift basket of Principessa products. It should be a suitable gift for women of any age. The packaging does not indicate the lip gloss comes from a sex toy store.
My overall opinion of this is okay. While I like the feel and shine of the lip gloss, I don’t like the lack of color and plumping. The price tag on this is also really high. I think most of Principessa’s stuff is overpriced for what you receive. Offering a larger tube with more lip gloss in it would give this a better value. Really, the slick feeling this gives me is the only thing that makes me prefer it over other lip glosses.

Follow-up commentary

Despite the lack of plumping and color this lip gloss has to offer, I still wear it whenever I get a chance. I like the subtle shine of it and the fact that it doesn't feel sticky or gross on my lips. One of the biggest reasons I usually opt for lip balm instead of lip gloss is the stickiness.
Even though the tube is glass, it has not broken yet. For the longest time I was taking it to work and keeping it in my pocket and it did fall out onto the cement floor a few times.
I don't think I will be buying this again due to the price and the fact that it doesn't add even just a tiny bit of color to my lips.
