We Smell Pretty, Oh So Pretty
When you're in the market for a great anti-bacterial toy cleaner that leaves your precious items squeaky clean and smelling pretty, you must give Climax Bursts a try. It may not be the best option for anyone with allergies to certain chemicals, so I've included a list for potential buyers to look into. This stuff has certainly changed my opinion of toy cleaners!

I was always a fan of Topco Sales' lubricants, but I'd never tried one of their toy cleaners before. In my mind, toy cleaners were just extra cost that I could be putting into more toys, as I honestly thought I'd go through a cleaner too fast. But then I bought a Fleshlight and had read they aren't suppose to be cleaned with normal soap, which made me look seriously into toy cleaners. With so many people liking it, I chose Topco's Climax Bursts Anti-bacterial toy cleaner. Naturally, it is water based to ensure it's safe to use on all toys and is made in the USA.
As the name suggests, it is loaded with teeny green and yellow balls that burst while washing, releasing Vitamin E to help protect your skin by moisturising. The cleaner (apart from the beads) has a cloudy clear appearance and is a about twice the thickness as Sliquid's Gel lubricants.
I'm not really sure how to describe the scent, apart from it being a gentle, calming aroma. I tend to have issues with products that have a strong chemical odour, as they trigger off migraines. But this doesn't have that at all. It does leave a slight scent on any soft materials like hands, silicone, Cyberskin and Superskin which some may not appreciate.
When only cleaning one average sized toy, I find a small drop is more than enough, as the cleaner lathers up beautifully. It has a lubricant type of texture that is smooth and slippery. The beads are so small that they are barely noticeable unless you deliberately squish one between two fingers. You'll then notice either a small yellow or green smear of colour on your finger where the bead popped. This colouring doesn't stain skin or any toys, including porous types.

PACKAGING:
The toy cleaner arrived in a 4 fl, oz clear plastic cylinder bottle (6” total length) with a pop top lid. The screw inner part of the lid is green and is covered by a clear dome which you pull up to open. If you pull too hard, the whole dome can come off, but pops back on easily. When closed, the tip of the green part of the lid pokes through the dome so the liquid can't leak out. Even so, if you are wanting to travel with it, I'd suggest placing the bottle inside a container or zip lock bag in case pressure was placed on it and the force popped the dome open. It would take a reasonable amount of pressure, but it's plausible.
Every now and then it might be wise to take the dome lid off to wash any excessive cleaner off that may clog up eventually.
The bottle is soft plastic so it's easy to squeeze the cleaner out. It features a clear label with “climax bursts” written down the length (4 ½”) and what looks like several green soap sudd bubbles. On the back are the ingredients, directions, warnings, Topco's address and their website. The bottom is stamped with an expiry date that gives at least 3 years in which to use it; or at least mine does.

Experience
EXPERIENCE:
I always thought my liquid anti-bacterial hand soap was good enough for washing my toys and it still is. But I love the scent of this toy cleaner and the subtle aroma left of my toys. I doubt I'd notice any difference if the moisturising beads weren't there, but I get a thrill out of popping them – just a kid at heart. I don't use it all the time as I bought it mostly for cleaning my Fleshlights, but I use it whenever I clean any toys in the shower and the level has barely gone down in the three months of owning it.
Even if it weren't for my Fleshlights, I'll definitely buy this again cause it smells wonderful and a little goes a long way.
It earns a full 5 stars.

Follow-up commentary
5 months after original review
This was my first toy cleaning product and because it performs so well I haven't felt the need to try any others.
This stuff really does go a long way and smells great. I use to think just anti-bacterial soap was more than fine, but it feels like I'm giving my toys a real pampering when using this stuff. I certainly don't want to ever run out.
