Wasn't What I was Expecting

This isn't worth it for me and shouldn't be used as an everyday toy cleaner. The chemical smell could ruin any toy in my opinion. I won't be buying this product again, once I run out of this bottle. I might even just toss out the one I have.

worth reading, but not useful review
I had never used a toy cleaner spray before. Mainly before hand, I would just use wipes; so this would save me on wipes, I figured. To begin with, I know Lelo is a high end brand for anything toy related. So, when this came with my kit, I was all for trying it and using it as a staple for my toy box. Upon my surprise, I realized that although it did clean very well, it left a very strong odor on the toys and on anything else it was in contact with. It's not unpleasant, but not pleasant either; it just smells highly of perfumed chemicals. That really turned me off with the product honestly. I expected the toys to be clean and smell clean at least. I didn't expect them to smell all chemical-like afterwards.

Needless to say, I rewashed the toys I used the spray on only because they still smelled like it a week later. I didn't want that smell on me or in me, so to speak. Plus, I was worried honestly, if the perfumed chemical smell and feel, would cause an infection. I didn't spray all that much on the toy either; just a light one sweep spray. This took forever to build up at first because it hadn't even been used yet, so the little tube needed to fill with the cleaner.

All in all, I know this came with my kit, but if I had the option, I would have switched to a better alternative. The idea was still a sound one, I just think Lelo should have used less perfumes and chemicals. Honestly, simple soap and water would seem like it would work better. Plus, it wouldn't have that chemical smell and feel. Granted, it might be best used on latex toys. I used it on non latex toys and a few plastic ones, so that might effect the results. I did use it on one silicone toy though and still didn't like the smell and feel it left.

So, although this is not going to become one of my regular and commonly used toy cleaning or toy box staple, it will be used in a pinch if needed. Other than that, I don't see myself buying this again, honestly.
Follow-up commentary
After having this for a while, I continued to try it out, but I still couldn't get over the chemical smell it has and that it would leave behind on some of my toys. I think I will just use toy wipes, or the cheapest option, simple soap and water. I already use and regularly depend on my Eden toy wipes, so I'll just stick to them for cleaning if they are nearby. Maybe it's just my sensitive nose, but I just couldn't get over that chemical smell.

good start at reviewing. more specifics about the cleaner itself like a list of ingredients would be helpful. a little more proofing would be helpful too.
