Wait, this is a sex toy?!
It works well for its purpose, but if you have limited funds, I'd find something that can do more than one thing. If you need your head vibrated/stroked, this is your toy. If you need anything else...

Pros
Easy to use, folds for storage
Cons
Not very versatile
I have owned this for years, and it was owned for years before that by someone else. I was actually surprised to see it here, but yeah EdenFantasys for being open to the not-sex sex toy. I find it...weird. The vibrations feel fairly good, but I can hear the buzz inside my skull. I find that off-putting.
I think my kids use it more than me, both to massage each others heads, and to stand it on the floor and see which way it "crawls", like a giant toy spider. To be fair to the Ting Ting, I don't like people to touch my head, and a hat has to be fabulous before I'm putting it on, so I am probably predisposed to dislike this.
That said, anything that can give you a massage on any part of your body without a willing partner is a great concept.
The "legs" can fold together, so that it lays flatter and can fit in a drawer. This is a good thing, since you don't always want it sitting on the coffee table as a conversation piece. I have had one of the copper wire legs bend a bit, but since those are metal, I just bent it back. Since it is going on your head, as long as it isn't uncomfortable, such little issues don't really matter (though they do affect the direction the spider crawls). The wires are fairly thick, with a sort of small ball on the end, which keeps them from being sharp and poking you instead of stroking you.
The Ting Ting sounds like an electric toothbrush when running, and the vibration travels through the hand holding the plastic handle as well as through the legs, so if you are sensitive to that sort of thing you may not care for it.
It is a bit difficult to open in order to change the two AA batteries, but they seem to last a really long time, so that isn't much of an issue. Just make sure that if you have joint or hand issues you find someone else to open it for you.
I don't think I'd recommend very messy play if you decided to take the Ting Ting into the bedroom and expose it to new horizons. It has small cracks that can't be accessed where the wired go into the handle, and the on/off button and battery access panel also would be difficult to clean. It is certainly not water proof. That said, we are talking about copper wire for the legs, so as long as you keep the handle end away from the splash zone, and keep lube and massage oil off the hand holding it, I don't see why it couldn't be used for tickle torture or other sensation play.
Vibrations on the bottom of the foot, for example, are really hard to ignore, even for us stoic "I'm not ticklish" types.

Experience
Mostly I keep it out at parties and potlucks. Inevitably someone goes "Oh, I LOVE these things!!!" and it gets passed about while folks make blissful faces. I don't think I'll buy another when this one dies (which I don't expect to happen anytime soon), but I won't be getting rid of this one either.
