The Ideal from Natural Contours is named appropriately for how wonderful it is as an all over body massager. Natural Contours is a company that makes products designed by women for women. The Ideal is actually great for anyone, male or female of any experience level or age. Ideal is an ergonomic and versatile vibrating wand. The head oscillates and has different attachments that can be bought to make the experience more intimate. The superior construction, rechargeable ability, and ABS plastic make this toy a good choice for the budget and body. Use it on sore muscles, feet, for back massages, or intimate ones. Use it alone or with a partner. The Ideal has something for everyone.

The Ideal is made of certified ABS plastic. The oscillating head has a matte texture, while the handle and body are smoother plastic. The plastic is very well made, sturdy, and doesn't feel cheap. It is safe for the body by being phthalates and latex free as well as hypo-allergenic and food-grade.

The head has a very strange smell of a hospital. Honestly this was my least favorite part of the toy. It does decrease with washing, so hopefully it will go away completely with some more time. ABS plastic is not completely non-porous so use this with a trusted partner and a condom.

The Ideal is designed to be comfortably held to reach all areas of your body or your partners. The total length is about 8" long. The head is about the size of a baseball and is attached to the body and handle with springs on the neck. The springs allow for the head to flex in different directions. The head is round in shape so that it can have attachments fitted onto it if you'd like to change up the feeling. The head by itself is a good shape and size for all external areas of the body.

The main part of the Ideal is the thick part of the body that has the controls on it. The handle takes two curves to the right. This unique curved handle makes it comfortable for both right and left handed users. When holding this in the package it feel heavy, but the way the handle is designed makes it feel weightless, like an extension to my arm really. At the very end of the vibrator are the holes for the AC power adapter.

This toy is discreet because it looks like a back massager, and in one way it is. It isn't the greatest for travel because of the size and shape.

The Controls on the Ideal are very easy to use. There is a sliding bar that when slid to the left turns on the low vibration. This level is moderate and very low in noise. It is best for areas of the neck and upper back. When held lightly on the skin it isn't much, but apply some pressure and the vibrations radiate much deeper. Even 10 seconds on my neck made me feel more relaxed. I love these vibrations because they run deep instead of just numb me like other toys. Sliding the button to the right turns on the high level. This level is powerful but not too intense because it still provides the same deep vibration. The weird thing about this level is that it can be quiet, but at other times it sounds like a power drill. I think the head in certain positions can clang against the sides of the inner head.

I really liked using this on myself for massages. The handle made it easy to. I could reach any areas I wanted: neck. lower back, shoulders, butt etc. I either navigated the head around my sore areas or would place it behind me on a couch. The vibration on the highest level was strong enough to reach all the areas of my back turning my couch into a vibrating lounger! The head is too large for internal insertion, but if pressure is applied the vibrations engulf the vulva and the clit providing deep allover vibration. The high level was too strong for me to finish to but was great for build up. I was able to switch the level to low easily when the time was right. My boyfriend loved feeling the vibration at the base of his penis and even more against his scrotum.

The Ideal is a rechargeable vibrator that uses a simple AC adapter. The first time you charge it, it will take up to 10 hours to charge it fully. Once it has been charged, it can run up to 60 minutes unless it is on the high level which will last a shorter amount of time. After depleting the power, it will take up to 5 hours to recharge. I think this charge time is long for only getting an hour out of it. This is one down side to being rechargeable since it cannot be used while charging.

The ABS plastic can be used with oil, water, or silicone lubricant. To store, you can use the packaging it came in to keep the toy and charger together. I have a lot of rechargeable toys and some chargers look similar. It is a good idea to keep them in the same place. To clean, use soap and water, or a rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) on the surface. Be careful when cleaning; the toy is not waterproof.

The Ideal comes in a thick plastic tray that holds both the massager and charger. This slides into a sheer thin plastic case. It is very simple looking and doesn't demand attention. On one side there are images that show the different ways to hold the handle and the other side shows different ways to use the toy. There is a user guide included that explains safety, use, charging precautions, and cleaning.

If you really like the Ideal but want to change up the feel and make it more intimate you can purchase accessories for it. One of which that I have is the G-Plus.

I am giving the Ideal 4 stars. I love how it feels during a massage and it is fun to use for intimate massages with my partner. I like that it recharges but wish the charge time was shorter and the power time longer. The vibrations are deep instead of painfully buzzy which makes using this for long periods of time enjoyable instead of numbing. Plus, I love that I can buy accessories for my massager!
