Lulu Edible Massage Oil in Cacao Picante is just that, massage oil that is edible. Now, I was expecting something overly fragrant and slippery, but this product is actually a pleasant surprise.

It's best used as a sensual massage with your partner, possibly after a nice hot bath or a long day at work. This product is pretty extraordinary, and its main ingredient is Sweet Almond Oil.

There is a possible allergy concern if you're allergic to almonds, I would assume, but otherwise it's one of the safest products I've come across.

When I think of massage oil, I think baby oil with a heavy fragrance. This product is far from that. It's silky smooth and makes your skin moist and slightly slippery. The massage oil will dry and blend into your skin, so only a subtle scent is left behind.

The oil pours easily and stays in place without feeling sticky or greasy. It really feels amazing.

I was sent the Cacao Picante version of the product, which smells like dark chocolate with a little bit of chili. It is a really decadent scent, and I would wear it as perfume if I could.

Now, the aroma is mild enough for you to notice it but fades over time. This will NOT knock you on your ass when you first open the container. All of the ingredients and flavors are natural, so you are really smelling cacao and chili, not some chemical concoction.

When it comes to taste, it falls a little flat. I would like a bit more flavor, but then I'd be tempted to lick it off myself before anyone else could. I tried tasting it two different ways, wet and dry. Once applied and given a good lick, you can only taste the "heat" from the chili. Another reviewer suggested waiting until the product dries, saying the mix of saliva and the product brings out a bit more of the taste. This might be true for other flavors, but once again I could just taste a little bit of the heat from the chili.

I adore this massage oil. It's silky soft and drys to your skin without leaving a film or uncomfortable sticky patch. You don't need to wash it off at all! It almost melts into your skin and leaves the subtle hint of chocolate.

When I was rubbing it on myself to test, I let it sit for a couple moments then began to work the oil again. My hand glided over my skin without getting any residue from the oil. It seems like a great natural alternative to many traditional massage oils.
