Ugh. Why did I even try?
This is a wonderful idea in theory. But it just felt flat. It melts much faster than it should to have any fun with it. Once it melts, it's not even a good lube.

Pros
fun idea, freezes fast
Cons
melts even faster, is a poor quality lube
On a hot summer afternoon, my husband and I picked up the Play Quiver lube just to try it out. We were thinking that it would be a nice way to cool down while having sex. Gods where we ever wrong.
The idea of Quiver is fun. It's lube that freezes fast, within about two hours or less. It can be run along the lips of the vagina, and other fun places, for temperature play, and to add needed lube in a fun way. But the execution didn't quite work, or it didn't work for me at all.
The Quiver comes in a box of six little bubble packs of lube. Each one can be put in the freezer, and freezes very fast. The box said it would freeze in about two hours, but for us it was frozen in about an hour. But it melts way too fast to really do much. Yes it did cool us down, but within minutes it was just very flimsy lube that was cool. It wasn't even cold.
It could have been that it was over 100 degrees that afternoon, but it seemed like it was just way too fast for it to melt. When we tried the Quiver out again when it was a cooler day, it once again melted very, very fast; almost just as fast as it melted that very hot afternoon. So we know it wasn't the heat that day, the stuff just melts very fast.
Once Quiver melts, the lube is just like water. Actually water itself is a better lube than this stuff. It has no smell or taste. It's made from water, gydroxyethylcellulose, PEG 800, propylene glycol alginate, benzoic acid, sodium saccharin, and sodium hydroxide.
Needless to say, the other four bubble packs of Quiver are still sitting in the freezer. I have no idea if we will use them ever.

I hated the Durex Play Quiver to start with. Like I have said, it's a wonderful idea but totally failed in the actual aplication of it. To bad, could have been a lot of fun.

Seems you enjoyed this less than we enjoyed K-Y yours and mine, which is saying something.

This sounds like such a fun idea in theory. Too bad it didn't work better in practice.
