I had seen this wand in many, many photos and videos circulating around the internet. I had read several reviews and weighed everything out. Ultimately, I chose to purchase one out of sheer curiosity; this toy couldn't be THAT good...Could it?

When I took it out of the box, the most noticeable thing was the weight. I wasn't altogether surprised, though - it was said that the Hitachi Wand packed quite a punch...So I somewhat expected the size/weight to compensate for the power it supposedly had. The first time I used it, I achieved orgasm in thirty seconds. I was absolutely dumbfounded. Never in my twelve+ years of orgasms had I ever climaxed in less than a minute, let alone less than thirty-one seconds. The best part about it (for me) is that the wand makes me climax so fast that I'm able to have multiple orgasms in a row; something I haven't been able to achieve prior to this wand!

I find the "low" setting to be more than adequate for my needs. In fact, when sometimes put on "high," the vibrations can become too intense - nearing uncomfortable. I imagine if I used a cap for the head it would feel great on "high." As it is, the wand is perfect for me on "low."

The noise level sort of worried me at first, but after plugging it in, setting it on high, putting it on my bed, closing the door and going into my roommate's bedroom (which is next to mine), I wasn't able to hear it and my insecurities were put to rest. It can be sort of loud, no denying that, but I have a pretty good notion that I'm louder than the toy could ever get.

I've found cleaning it to be rather easy. I take a washcloth, dip it in warm water (and wring it out), rub a bit of antibacterial soap into the cloth, and gently rub the head of the Hitachi. It cleans up very easily, though I do spend a bit of time on it since the head has small ridges all over its surface.

I've found that men tend to enjoy this wand as well. I've had a great deal of fun experimenting with my significant other, gently rubbing the head of the wand up and down his shaft. Sometimes the vibrations are so intense he needs me to stop, but usually a few seconds later, he's ready for more!

All in all, I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I feel if you're looking for a staple toy to add to your collection, one that's pretty low maintenance and multi-purposed, this is it! Enjoy!

(Additional note: Using the wand for its marketed purpose [as a deep-tissue massager] is great, too. Just putting that out there!)
