Brand spankin' toy cleaner review
All in all, using the cleaner wasn't any easier or more convenient than washing the toys with soap. The Brand Spankin' Toy Cleaner is probably more suited to infrequent uses. For regular cleanings, I'd recommend sticking to soap and hot water.

When I saw the word “Penthouse” on my Brand Spankin’ Toy Cleaner, I hoped that would mean that this was a high quality product. I wasn’t terribly impressed, unfortunately, and probably won’t continue to use it on my toys.
The bottle contains four ounces of clear liquid, which doesn’t sound like much, but will definitely last a long time. I cleaned two toys pretty thoroughly, but the bottle still looks as full as it did when I opened it. The bottle proudly advertises itself as a Penthouse brand toy cleaner (“Clean toys for dirty fun!”), so this is not for those who want something discreet; no one would mistake this for an ordinary antibacterial spray (although you could probably use it that way if you were so inclined).
The cleaner is antibacterial, which is a plus when dealing with sex toys. It doesn’t have any smell, which I also like. Despite these features, however, I didn’t find the cleaner to have any real advantage over old-fashioned soap and water. The directions are simple: “apply thoroughly to personal item as desired. Wipe with a clean, dry cloth.” I tried it out on two toys; one was silicone, the other plastic. Even after wiping the silicone dry, the toy still felt a little sticky, so when I cleaned the plastic toy, I used less of the liquid. I still wound up with the same stickiness, though. Using a dry cloth as directed didn’t totally get rid of the feeling, so I used some warm water to wash the toy off.
