The skin scrub everyone needs!
My skin has never felt so wonderful! Especially if you have oily skin or a job where you sweat/perspire a lot, this scrub can really do you a world of good! Highly, highly recommended.

No directions.
The Simply Sensual Body Scrub was my first foray into the world of body scrubs. And I have to say....I'm hooked!! This particular sugar based scrub comes in a tub with a screw top lid. There's 200g in it, or 7oz gram weight. At the top of the package, under the lid and covering the scrub (though it sits on a lip so it's not really touching the scrub) is a plastic plate, with a little handle so you can pick it up, and a little plastic spoon on it. The spoon is nice as it allows you to better control the portion of scrub you take out.
There's one label that is wrapped around the entire tub. It gives you a lot of information, such as a blurb about the scrub as well as a list of ingredients (which is also available on the product page here on EF). The scent is listed as "pomegranate ginger" and while I can smell a little pomegranate in it, I cannot smell any ginger, and it really smells like an artificial pomegranate scent, though that could be because all ingredients carry some scent, and it may just be affecting the scent that way. My boyfriend says that it smells like those candles you get to have outside to try and keep away bugs, but I don't agree in the slightest. It does leave a light scent on your skin.
What is really lacking though, are directions. Nowhere on the packaging does it say to use it before or after showering, if you should leave it on a certain time, rub it in a certain time, nothing. Which was sort of disappointing for me, beings as how I'd never used something like this before. The only thing it says is to use it 2-3 times a week. I find this works best, and I use it at the end of my shower.
I love how this stuff leaves my skin feeling. It feels clean, smooth, soft and moisturized. It has a lot of natural oils in it, so as you're rinsing there can be a bit of a greasy feeling. Just keep rinsing; it does take a little bit to get all of it off your skin. (Also, make sure to rinse out your shower; I find that every now and again a glob of this will have missed my attention and then dry to the tub... ick.)
Since this does shuck off skin and such, I always ensure to lotion a couple (2-3) hours after using it. Though it moisturizes itself, it's main purpose is exfoliation and that can and does take moisture from your skin.
Lastly; I typically only use this on my arms and legs, rarely my face and never anywhere else. The main ingredient in this is sugar so it is quite rough; you don't want to damage sensitive skin, tattoos, or make an open wound worse.

Experience
The way I use this scrub is I'll put a dollop or two in my hand and then break "chunks" off and then rub it all over my skin (as previously mentioned; arms or legs). Then, I rinse it off. That simple! Just make sure to rinse it off well; I typically will rub my hands over my arms and legs to make sure it's all rinsed off.
Another way to be sure is to watch the water as it goes down the drain; it will be very cloudy from the scrub as well as what it's exfoliated off.
I love this stuff, and honestly look forward to using it! I love how it makes my skin feel.
