The best use for this product is as a shower gel or bubble bath. This could be a gift for someone for any event or even thrown into a gift basket. The best time to use this would obviously be in the shower, excuse my bluntness. There are a lack of precautions on the bottle. The thoughts that would go with this are pretty standard as far as shower gel / bubble bath goes. Those being don't leave around children and that the product is for external use only.


As far as consumers who could use this shower gel I would say anyone and everyone can use it. It can be used as a couple together or alone. The scent seems pretty unisex to me. There don't seem to be many concerns for allergies. The shower gel claims to be moisturizing but I did not get that from it and so I would say it is best suited for people with normal skin.

The texture of this shower gel was slightly thicker than others that I have used. The color of it is a light amber. In order to use it I had to squeeze the bottle with a little bit of pressure so that I could get a good amount. Still it is not hard to get out of the bottle. The thick consistency made a good impression on me, because that meant I had much better control over how much came out. Better to get a little less and continue to add until there is enough. The texture is also a bit sticky and there are not any little exfoliating beads because it is meant to be a bubble bath as well as shower gel.

The aroma was nice the first time that I opened the bottle. At first it smelled like apple seeds which I had found pleasant. After a little while the smell began to remind me of something that I can now not get out of my head. Sadly, it is not a smell that I take happiness in. The smell that I associate this scent with is generic public bath soap. The scent that I have is called "You're the perfect Roommmate!" Unfortunately it is not the perfect bath mate. The aroma is strong enough that now I cannot stand it. So I was very disappointed in this scent.

I mentioned before that the scent of this shower gel seemed to be in my opinion unisex. The scent leaves your skin as soon as you rinse off the soap. If your sensitive to scents I would steer clear, because this scent is absolutely not the perfect roommate.

There was one more thing that annoyed me about this product. This was that when using it as a bubble bath I had to use about half of the bottle to get decent bubbles. Most of you would probably like to debunk this as my water pressure not being strong enough. The drops that come out of my shower and faucet feel like a hose set on high and small water bullets. Even when I used this with a loofah it did not suds up that well. I honestly don't have good things to say about this product. The product rinses right off and although it claims to be moisturizing I did not gather that impression at all after using it.

The product came in a regular delivery box and was surrounded by brown paper. It was inside of this brown paper that the tube was contained inside of a small clear plastic bag closed by a clear rubber band. The product had instructions on the label of the bottle which read "For Bath - Pour a capful or two into warm running water. For Shower - later with loofah or directly on skin." The package has no need to be discreet and therefore it is not. It is also suitable for travel if you are staying at hotel or a relative's house. It is not something that needs to be worried about too much in terms of it being found or seen.

Overall the package that arrived at my door was a brown box with a generic company name. If the box were to be found no one would know what kind of site or company it came from. The labels do not need to ripped off as there is nothing sexual or vulgar printed on it.

This product has no special features unless you consider "moisturizing shower gel" special. I do not, even more so in the case that this soap was not moisturizing in the least to me.

My personal thoughts about this product would be this: Please do not waste your money on the Roommate Scent. Try out one of the others unless you like the way public restroom soap smells. It did not make a decent bubble bath with even half the bottle. It did not feel moisturizing either. I would not buy this scent for a friend and I would not purchase any of the other scents as this one has turned me off to the entire collection. I would not recommend this to any of my friends either. I feel as though this sounds very harsh, but I have promised to provide an honest review on anything I buy from here.

My experience with this product was not pleasant and not horrible. It was just an okay, slightly disappointing shower gel. It did not lather well, and the bubble bath I tried to make with half a bottle was hardly a bubble bath. The scent was annoying and unpleasant to me as it reminded me of public restroom soap.
