The Deliciously Magical Satin Sugar Hair and Body Powder for Darker Hues
Satin sugar hair and body powder is a product that I will be buying again and again. It's a bit on the pricey side, but it is for someone who has trouble with excess oil or is in a hurry constantly and is on the go. Check it out, what could it hurt?

Pros
The scent. The fact that it actually works!
Cons
It's a bit on the pricey side.
I've been noticing the Cake Beauty line for a while now and being a girly girl, the bubbly cuteness of the packaging and scent descriptions intrigued me to the very max! I had never bought a dry shampoo before, but I've been really wanting to try one. Okay, not just wanting, but needing one to try!
My hair is really long, wavy, and gets dry on the ends. After a single day, my roots are already getting oily. I also work out daily and do not want to have to wash my hair every day. With that said, I finally bought this so called CAKE powder and absolutely loved it! The smell is delicious and very light. The product actually works, unlike others that I've seen friends use. Friends have always complained of a coated crud on their locks. I have used it two mornings in a row and it has absorbed the oil, freshened, and softened my strands along my roots.
One thing though, you have to know how to use the product the correct way or else it can become a horrid mess. Make sure to dump a small amount in your hands and then mix and tousle through your roots. During the first application, your hair will be a tad "white powder-looking". That may sound a little funny, but you get me! It goes away after you tousle or comb your hair thoroughly.
As for using it as a perfumed body powder? I say go for it. My fiance loves the way it smells and compliments me on it often. It has also managed to somehow soften my skin.
I am still amazed at how well this works and how long I have lived without this product! A top 5 must have for me! I'm excited to try more of Cake's product and they've sure developed a fan in me now!

Thanks for the review. How long do you believe this bottle would last with regular applications? What are the ingredients of this product? Also, does the color matter much?

I use small amounts at a time, just enough to refresh and get rid of the excess oils on my roots. I'd say one container would last closely towards a month if not a little longer. I'm going on 3 weeks now and a still have a fourth of the full amount left (keep in mind, I also use this as a after shower body powder). As for the color, I'm not sure. I'm brunette so of course I automatically grabbed what was stated on the container (for darker hues). The lighter powder may make a brunette's locks look a bit dead.

I wasn't very sure about this at first because I had no idea what exactly I would use this for, but now I'm a little more interested. Great review, thank you for sharing.
