My husband and I have used this wonderful investment in two ways. One is as for a slow sensual massage for foreplay and the other is to massage the outside of my vagina. This was one of our first sex toy investments and it certainly has not disappointed! When I was a beginner I took it slow - it has intense vibrations and can be incredibly stimulating! Now, as a more seasoned player, I say bring on the highest setting baby! The best way to massage the vagina with this toy is to go up and down on the outside of the vagina very slowly. You can mix the experience up and hang out at the clitoris - that feels great too! I think this toy can be great for a beginner - as long as they understand that the vibrations are intense. The more you use it - the more comfortable you'll be.

This toy is smooth on the tip and is made of plastic. It's Phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, and latex free. It's very smooth - so it's great for those sensitive areas.

It really has a great design. It's white on the tip, has a white base - which is connected by a blue arm. It's length is 12" so the reach is great for pleasuring yourself or having your hubby do it for you. It is a little heavy - but not a great deal. I have small hands and have had no trouble. The pleasure out ways the not as flattering details. The toy is advertised as a general massager in some circles - so some might not hide it at all (though I hide it because that's not a conversation I'd like to have with the in-laws - "So Dear, what's this?") This toy has traveled with us - though only when we are traveling alone because it is noisy!

This toy performs great! In addition to using it to massage the outside of the vagina to encourage arousal, I've also used it to encourage squirting - with the addition of a glass wand. It works excellent for that. The vibrations are located at the end or tip of the toy, though you can feel it in the base as you hold it. The controls are convenient to use but it is large, very noisy, and a little heavy - but still a great addition to a toy collection! It does have a multiple speed setting and plugs into a standard wall outlet. The cord reaches a good ways - but I'm sure you can use an extension cord if necessary.

I use an attachment on this toy that I was with soap and water because using the attachment is a lot more sanitary that the plastic material of the wand. I wouldn't wash the Hitachi with soap and water because it's electric - I would wash it down with a wipe. I store this in our sex bag - it's very durable and doesn't require gentle care.
