Tasty!
This is a good body paint to get. For the price, you can't beat it and the tastes are pretty good. They are reusable glass jars that would look nice setting up on a shelf for decoration, after you've used the paint up. (or even with the paints too).

Pros
not too messy, cleans off easy, tastes/smells great, reusable glass jar
Cons
brush is really a piece of foam-don't like it.
My wife and I have been attempting to "try new things". So, because of her love for the Shunga Line-This was a natural "must try" for us. And of course, it did not disappoint. I have never tried body paints before, so of course I do not have much to compare this product to. I can say though, that this was a really tasty treat for my wife and I!
The Shunga Body Paint comes in a pretty heavy duty glass jar. The shape is partially the reason my wife bought it. She is obsessed with all these "cool looking containers" as she so adorably put it. So, we purchased the Strawberries & Champagne and the Vanilla/Chocolate flavors. We still have yet to test the Chocolate. However, I have a feeling that will be next on our list.
The glass jar comes with a plastic tab that connects it with a small applicator. I cannot say that I was too impressed with the applicator, as it was pretty low quality. It isn't a foam applicator, like we had assumed. Rather, it is a piece of thin foam that is folded into a spade shape. Still, it does work, just not as well as we had hoped. The stick of the applicator was almost that of a very thick toothpick. This was also a downside, as we feel as though we may break it.
The jar is filled with 3.5 fluid ounces of edible body paint. This body paint contains: Sugar (sucrose), Water, Cacao (cocoa), Citric acid, Salt (sodium chloride), Potassium sorbate, Vanillin.
Because of the ingredients of this body paint, my wife said that some women may experience infections if it is used on the genitals. So, I would recommend that this paint be used as a topical paint only, away from those areas.
The glass jar has a thick, plastic cap that twists off. It doesn't leak (that we have realized yet anyways). The body paint isn't extremely thick, but it definitely works well on the skin. The applicator is not the best applicator, so we used our fingers with it too, to see if that would work better. I suppose that you might be able to use a q-tip as well? Maybe a make-up applicator? Just suggestions. Not sure how well those will work though, as we have not tried them.
The tastes are sweet. They taste as they sound (the flavors), but we realized that the flavor could be more than it was. You can definitely taste the sweet, sugary taste, but the actual flavor was somewhat weak. Its not too thick, but its not runny. I would say that the consistency is somewhere in the middle and pretty nice. I could compare it to maybe cough syrup? Vicks Nyquil maybe? (The consistency, mind you, not the flavor!)

Experience
We were able to use this paint to draw and write all over each other without having any issues of the paints running or leaking down our body parts. This is really nice, so you don't make a huge mess. Of course, if it does drip, there's always the option of licking it up with your tongue!
My wife plans to reuse these containers for decorations as soon as we're done with them. They would make a really nice gift for someone or to set up in your home. Even having them with the body paints in them (the glass is clear, so you will have a strawberry colored glass or a white, milky glass jar or a fudge/chocolate colored jar-depending on which flavor you get) would make a nice decoration.
We also liked that it didn't leave a sticky mess behind. We've tried chocolate syrup in the past, once. That didn't end too well with such a mess that it made.

Follow-up commentary

The Shunga Body Paint is still a really nice touch in our bedroom. We have realized that "too much of a good thing" though is not good. This paint is something that you have to use in moderation, otherwise it starts to leave a funny taste in your mouth. It is very sweet and a little goes a long way. It is still a really nice spicy item to add to our collection.
