Kama Sutra honey dust is an edible, kissable body powder. It is flavored with natural honey. This product can be purchased in Honeysuckle, Strawberry, or Strawberries & Champagne. This review is written on the original honeysuckle flavor.

This item arrives in a decorative, clear plastic box. The box has the product name and key facts printed on it. Upon opening the box, you will find 2 oz of honey dust, a satin drawstring bag in either black or red (depending on flavor), and a mini feather duster. The feather duster is about 5” in total length, with 1” of that being the black wooden handle. The powder will be sealed in a plastic bag. To use, simple cut this bag open and pour the product into the satin bag. The satin bag opens wide enough to allow you to dip in the feather duster, then ties closed when you’re done. Be careful pouring this product into the satin bag, because it does tend to get messy. I got some on my dresser, but I was able to clean it up quite easily. I recommend storing this product in a plastic sandwich bag when not in use.

I would like to take a moment now to discuss the full-sized product in case you should choose to upgrade. The full sized Kama Sutra honey dust comes with 8oz of powder, a larger satin drawstring bag to accommodate it, and a fuller, thicker feather duster. This all comes in a lovely decorative tin. The flavor options increase as well, including Sweet Honeysuckle, Raspberry Kiss, Strawberries & Champagne, Chocolate Caress, and Tangerines & Cream. I stripped down to my lingerie, lit a few candles, and called my husband in the room to help me try the honey dust out. The feathers are not as full as they could be, rather they are more spread out. Therefore, I found that the easiest way to use the duster is with a round, twirling motion. I dusted down the front of my body with the powder, which shimmered teasingly in the candle light. The product will feel light and powdery on your skin. It is almost completely translucent, except for the bit of sparkle. My husband then proceeded to lick the powder off of me. The taste of the honey dust is very light. I was able to pick up on the natural honey in it, and I also tasted some artificial sweetener. That being said, my husband (who is staunchly opposed of the taste of all things artificially sweetened) did not mind the taste of it at all. I asked him what he thought of the taste, and he said it was very good.

Due to the honey and sweeteners, the product will leave a bit of a sticky feeling once it is moistened by your partner’s tongue if it is not completely licked off (so make sure they do a good job). I think that this honey dust definitely added to our foreplay experience. It was a great start to an intimate experience, and really got us both in the mood for more. In fact, next time I plan to buy the product in full size. I have tried the Kama Sutra Chocolate Body Paint as well and I can say without a doubt that the Honey Dust is greatly superior.

This is still a fun item to bring out on special occasions. It is a little too messy for every day use though. The taste is still very likable to both of us and adds to our date nights.
