Sweet Almond Flowers
This is a good massage oil but not the greatest. If you're looking for it to stay smelling like sweet almonds, run away; it starts smelling like flowers after a while. One thing I love about this massage oil is that it doesn't give you that oily, greasy, nasty feeling. It also makes your skin shiny looking.

I'm sure in my other reviews I have mentioned how I have a collection of massage oils. I'm a huge fan of giving massages. I will purchase and use anything having to do with massages. Since Kama Sutra is a popular brand, I decided to add this oil to my collection. It's not my favorite but it's not the worst.
The Kama Sutra Massage Oil comes in a few different scents, which are: Soaring Spirit, Serenity, Healing Blend, and Sweet Almond; I chose Sweet Almond. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect the sweet almond scent to smell like, but I figured maybe I’d like it better than the rest. I had a feeling the others smelled like flowers, which is a scent I do not like.
The Sweet Almond massage oil by Kama Sutra comes in a clear bottle with a cute label and black cap. Looking at the bottle, the oil looks like a yellowish green. To dispense some oil you just hold the bottle upside down and press the cap to open. While holding the bottle upside down, the oil doesn’t leak out or spill. You have to put some pressure on the bottle to get some out. Be careful not to squeeze the bottle too tightly or else you’ll get a ton of oil that you may not need. The oil isn’t thick but it’s not too thin. The smell reminds of Amaretto coffee creamer. You don’t need to use a whole lot of this oil to have a good massage session. When you put some on the skin, the receiver really can’t feel that it’s even there. Same thing with rubbing it in. I thought since this is an oil that it would feel oily and greasy but that’s not even the case. I love how it doesn’t leave a gross feeling, which is a plus. While rubbing it in, it rubs in very quickly, and it also makes the skin look shiny and soft. I noticed that once the oil was being rubbed in, the sweet almond scent went away and it started smelling like flowers. I was extremely disappointed with the floral smell because I hate anything that smells like flowers. It would’ve been fine if it were a light floral scent but it’s super strong to where I got a headache. I wish the almond smell would’ve stayed throughout the whole time, but sadly it didn’t.
The ingredients for this oil are:
Soybean Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Pistacia Vera Seed Oil, C 12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Caprylic Triglyceride, Sweet Almond Oil, Fragrance, Tocopheryl Acetate, Lecithin, Alpha Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Benzoate, Citronellol, Coumarin, Limonene, Linalool
Paraben and Gluten free.
I think that for the price it should have a heating or cooling side effect. It’s too expensive for what it offers in my opinion. If you love giving or receiving massages, don’t care bout the floral scent (while rubbing in), and don’t care to spend so much for this, you should at least try it. This is a good massage oil but not the greatest.

I've had this for a few months now and still get a headache from the flower scent. I love the sweet almond scent at first, though. I wish it stayed smelling like almonds; I would definitely like it so much more.

Great review. Thanks for sharing! Sweet Almond sounds nice, so it sucks that it smelled like flowers when you rubbed it in. I also hate floral scents. I'm going to pass on this stuff.

Thanks for the review. We've got the (discontinued?) Coconut & Pineapple and love that one

I hate floral smells, but love almond! Thanks for the warning, I'll be passing on this.
