Super useful.
All in all, this product is amazing. I'll use it over and over until it gets broken, and then I'll come right back for more.

Pros
Easy to use, nice small size.
Cons
Too hot sometimes.
Oh, how I love these.
They are so easy to use. They heat up super fast, and stay warm super long. The only thing I don't like is when they reach their highest temperature, it's nearly unbearable. I don't like having to boil them to be able to use them again, but it's not a hassle at all. I'm just super lazy. Another small issue - don't be dumb enough to touch them immediately after taking them out of the water. I made that mistake, and it was rather painful.
They work really well for back massages, your partner can easily knead the pads into whatever pressure points/knots you have without causing you any pain at all.
I have always gotten horrible menstrual cramps, and they worked for relieving that sort of pain better than any heating pad/other product I have ever used before.
It's also very nice for when you have any sort of muscle pain. I have a lot of extremely tense muscles (generally in my lower back, shoulders, and thighs), and after laying down with them on the place that's tense for a while, I felt great. Whatever pain I'd had would be completely gone by the time I took them off, and I felt very relaxed.
Another thing I tried doing when I couldn't lay down because I had to go to work and had injured my calf muscles - I wrapped an ace bandage around my leg a few times, put on the pad, and then finished wrapping it. The pads slipped around a little bit during the day, but it helped soothing the pain quite a bit.
I often got paranoid about them breaking because the edges look like they're flimsy and look like they're melting away if they touch the pot at all during the boiling process. I've had them for about four to five months now, and they're still perfectly intact. Some of the edges are a tiny bit warped because of coming into contact with the pot, but I think that only happened because I had left them unattended for a few minutes and they were touching it for an extending period of time, which is completely my own fault and should've been expected due to the material.

Experience
I ordered a few sets of them (my mom asked me to buy some for her), and they're great for nearly all situations. My husband and I use them when we give each other massages after a rough day/when we just feel like doing something sweet for each other.
My mother and I have always gotten horrible menstrual cramps, and they worked better than any heating pad I've ever used. Their small size is a major plus, because you can put it exactly where it hurts without overheating anywhere else.
My father has severe back pain, and once when his back seized up, we tried placing a few of them on spots that hurt, and he said that they helped soothe the pain and made it go away much faster.

When I moved across the country, I was nervous about them popping and ruining the other things in the box with them, so I heated them up and let them cool and get hard. They were like that for a few weeks, and when they arrived here with my other stuff, they still worked perfectly fine. :]
