Super Sweet!
The Romantic Essential Kit by Lover’s Choice Inc. is a cute kit whether you are staying in or getting away. The kit comes with a bubble bath, massage cream, 2 tea light candles, 40 silk petals, and a romance guide. It's definitely a great kit to set the mood, but once the mood is there, it's all up to you.

Pros
inexpensive, sets the mood, carrying case, lovely scents, reusable petals.
Cons
may irritate sensitive skin, paper pamphlet isn't really useful (for us).
The Romantic Essential Kit by Lover’s Choice Inc. is an inexpensive, sweet little kit that includes a tropical scented massage cream, tropical scented bubble bath, silk rose petals, two tea lights, and a romantic essentials guide. All of the items come in a reusable plastic zip pouch.
Around the zip pouch is a cardboard packaging that can be slid right off the pouch. The cardboard packaging just states the product name and the contents included in the kit. The back of the packaging states the same information but in French. The bottom of the cardboard piece lists the ingredients in the cream and bubble bath. The ingredients to the products are listed on the bottles they come in so you do not need to keep the packaging for this. The cardboard piece can be recycled.
The reusable zip pouch is clear and has a black zipper along the top. The pouch measures 6 ½ inches wide, 4 ½ inches tall, and 1 ½ inches thick. The bag is really nice to keep all of the products in when they are not being used, or it can be used for other miscellaneous things (hair ties, receipts, whatever). There is a plastic piece sitting inside of the pouch that helps keep its shape. This plastic piece can also be recycled.
The two tea lights included are white coloured and are individually sealed in plastic. Both the bubble bath and cream have foil seals beneath their caps. The rose petals are in a white organza bag.
I had recently reviewed the tropical scented massage cream in the Lover’s Choice Inc massage kit so I already knew that I wouldn’t be able to use it for myself. My skin is fairly sensitive and the cream made my skin a bit red and blotchy. Fortunately for us, my partner did not experience any irritation with the cream so we can use it on his body. The ingredients in the massage cream are as follows: Aqua(Water), Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Olive Oil (Olea Europea), Manuka Oil (Leptospermum Scoparium, Parfum (Fragrance), Benzyl Salicylate, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Hexyl Cinnamal, Alpha Isomethylionone, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Linalool, Phenoxethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Ethylparaben, and Butylparaben.
The massage cream comes in a 2 fl oz bottle with a black twist off lid. The massage cream is a white colour but when it’s rubbed into the skin, it is clear. The cream reminds me of pudding in the way it looks and feels. It’s a light cream and is not runny. The cream absorbs into the skin after awhile of being rubbed in. It does not leave any sticky/oil/greasy/nasty residue after it’s been absorbed. The skin actually feels quite smooth once the cream has soaked in.
It makes me really sad that I can’t use this cream on my skin because I just adore the smell. It isn’t an overpowering smell, though it will linger on the skin for a while after using it. I’d say it’s more of subtle smell that lingers on your skin after use. The scent is tropical (coconut and passion fruit).
The tea light candles are your regular tea lights (5 inch circumference, ¾ inch tall). They are white in colour. There really isn’t anything fancy about the tea lights; they are just used to set the mood. The candles are not scented though if you have a oil burner, you could use these candles with a scented oil and you’d be set. These candles are not to be used for massage. They do not drip oil they drip wax.
The silky rose petals are not scented, and they are not soap petals. These petals are more of a mood enhancer. They can be sprinkled onto the bed, in a bubble bath, or you can lead a trail of rose petals into the bedroom for your partner to find you. Really, you can do whatever you want with them. The rose petals are a hot pink colour. The tops of the petals are soft against the skin. I counted 40 petals total in the organza bag they came in.
The bubble bath is tropical scented like the massage cream. It smells amazing! The bottle that the bubble bath comes in is 2 fl oz just like the cream. I decided not to use this for myself since I was worried that my skin may react the same way it did with the cream. I ran a nice bath for my partner and used 1/6th of the bubble bath in the kit (I also sprinkled the petals in the bath as well). The bubble bath created a lot of bubbles, but they disappeared just as quickly as they were created. They didn’t last any longer than other bubble baths we’ve tried.

Experience
...continued
The scent lingered as I ran the bath, but I couldn’t smell it much afterwards. The scent didn’t seem to linger on my partners skin either once he was out of the bath. This could be because we have a really deep bathtub and fill it really high, but I’m not sure. My partner’s skin also didn’t really feel any better or worse after the bubble bath, but he did say it was extremely relaxing.
The ingredients in the bubble bath are as follows: Water (Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium C-14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Sorbitol, Fragance (Parfum), Sodium Xylenesulfonate, Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Acrylates Copolymer, Cocamide Mea, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Retinyl Palmitate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Sodium Chloride, Allanton, Phospholipids, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Polyquaternium-7, Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Methyl Gluceth-20, PPG-5-Ceteth-20, Sodium Sulfate, Lauramine Oxide, Disodium Edta, and Benzopheno.
My partner didn’t really care for the rose petals in the bath because they all eventually sat at the bottom of the tub. I still thought it looked pretty but next time we use the petals it will be on the bed. After the bubble bath, they had a bit of bubbles left on them so I rinsed them off with water and have them sitting on a towel right now to dry. They seem like they will dry well and can be reused because they still have a crisp feeling to them.
The romance guide included in the kit is just a paper pamphlet that gives ideas on how to make a romantic getaway for two. It’s a cute addition, though I don’t find it that useful for my partner and I. The paper basically states what you should pack for your getaway, and to plan for surprises such as, “a spontaneous walk together” and “a passionate kit under the stars”. While this paper wasn’t really useful for us, it could be useful for those who may need a bit more help in the romance department.
Overall, this kit is lovely. We’ve decided on a 4 out of 5 rating because it is inexpensive, a cute idea, and the products are quite nice for setting the mood. The reason we’ve deducted a star is because the candles are not scented (nor are the petals), and because those with sensitive skin like me may be unable to use the included cream and bubble bath.
