I first got to try this at a slumber party, and man, was I hooked. This is one of the best bath scrubs you can get to indulge yourself. As you would expect from a sugar scrub, the texture is grainy without being too rough on your skin. It will take off your dead skin and leave you feeling silky smooth, without the sore feeling some body scrubs can cause.
The sugar in the scrub might put some people off as sugar dissolves in water, but with the size of the sugar granules, you don't have to be worried about using this in the shower. It is super thick, like sand, so a little goes a long way. It is a bit oily, especially if you don't mix up the scrub before using it, but seeing as this is a bath product and you will be rinsing it off, I don't view this as a problem. The smell is a bit intimidating, at least until you rinse the scrub off; it is very strong! But once rinsed, the smell is a sweet creamy vanilla with a subtle brown sugar smell. It has quite a long-lasting scent; I could still smell it on my skin four hours later. As a girl who prefers lotions over perfume, this was a big plus for me.
The size of the container is also a plus. It is a large tub, and with the small amount I use each time, it has lasted me several months. That being said, the price of this scrub makes the size a bit of a necessity as most people would not pay thirty dollars for a bath scrub, even one as nice smelling as this. Besides the size, the packaging also sports a tastefully simple design free of any innuendos, and sturdy leak-proof construction. Feel free to leave this product anywhere you care to place it, as it will cause neither embarrassment nor mess if found.

Something I have been doing with this scrub is using it as a prep to shave my legs. It leaves them so smooth, you can't believe they ever had hair! The way I use this scrub is in the steps below. Try it, you won't regret it!
1. Soak your legs in the tub a few minutes. I do it for 5 minutes, but a quick dip will work as well.
2. Shave your legs.
3. Rub some of this mixture all over your legs. The sugar will help rub off all dirt and dead skin. Rub until you see the scrub start to thin or loose its graininess.
4. Rinse it all off and shave again. I would use one razor per leg if you have two. You will need to rinse the razor a lot.
5. Rub your legs down with the scrub again.
6. Rinse it off. You can use a mild soap to help get some of the oil off, but it should just rinse.
7. Lotion your legs up, and voila! Super silky!

Thanks for sharing how you liked this. I agree, seems way overpriced for something you can make at home for less than $3. I make my own brown sugar scrub and the ingredients are far off from this and it literally costs a total of less than 3 dollars, so this isn't a product I can really spend $ on and feel okay about it. It sounds nice, but I will stick with my homemade version.
