Sprinkle Me Gold!
Overall, the Gold Dust is great for any occasion, be it the mall, out to dinner or a formal event. Great for girls of any age!

Pros
Absorbs moisture, decent amount of "glitter", anytime use, great for the young ladies
Cons
Container is low-quality, only 1 scent, doesn't come with a pouf or feather
The Gold Dust is a pretty cute product. I love this stuff for when I'm just going to the store, out to a friends house or out to dinner! Its really one of those things that you can use whenever, where ever. Its also a great gift or product for the younger girls to wear!
Gold dust comes in a small 2 ounce plastic jar, which, is one of my beefs with this product. LOVE the product, not crazy about the container. Because the container is kind of a cheaper or low-quality plastic, its hard to thread the top on just right. It seems to keep "falling off the threads" or not latching properly. Maybe I just got a bad batch container and the mold wasn't just right. Who knows.
My other beef with this product is the pad that comes included inside the bottle. Its like one of those older foundation pads. I would have much preferred this product to come with the feathery duster like the Touch of Honey body dust comes with.
The 2 ounce container seems "small" in amount, but really, a little goes a LONG way with this product. You don't need to use very much at all. I wear this if I'm just wanting to have a little pick me up when I go to the store, mall or to a friends house. Dab a little bit on your neckline to accent it. Maybe draw some attention between the breasts in the crease. There is a great deal of glitter in this one. I was worried that it might be more "powder than glitter", but the ratio is pretty good. Its not overpowering, making you look like you just bathed in glitter from the craft store. Its just enough to lightly add some shimmer to your look.
I also use this to sop up some of the "sweaty areas". Because it has cornstarch in it, its going to help absorb the moisture that sits under your breasts or bra straps.
Also great for around the back of the neck or top of the hands.
My daughter is 8 years old and starting to really get into all of the "girly stuff". So this is a great item for me to have, because if we go out to dinner, I'll do her hair up and let her dab on a little touch of this on her neck and top of her hands and arms for a light shimmer. Then of course, she has this "all grown up" feel and she loves it!
I would like to see them come out with more perfume type scents (not all the fruity business that a lot of these dusts have). And I would also like to see them come up with a different applicator, like the Touch of Honey has.
Great addition to a beauty or bath & body gift basket. Would make a great gift for a young to teenage girls birthday. Give this to a woman for a baby or bridal shower gift too! After having a baby, most of us don't feel as "up to par" as we could. Give her this, to give her a little pick me up!

It's still a favorite! Still wishing they would come out with more perfume scents, but for now, this one is good.
