Spanish Lie

The Spanish Fly drops did not work for us. I think it is meant to be used as a placebo or novelty, maybe a great gift. If you have used this exact product before and it did work for you, please comment about it. Things work differently for all people, but the ingredients are petty much sugar water so I don't see how it would work for anyone. Unfortunately, this should really be called Spanish Lie.

Use

What do I think is the best use for this product? A placebo, kool aide maybe. Expensive for just a couple ounces of sugar water. I looked up the ingredients, and Googled every single one. It's mostly water with some sugar and a flavoring substance, but nothing even pointed in the direction of being an aphrodisiac, or anything sexual at all. We used it anyway only because it was a buyout assignment. Fortunately, my boyfriend researches everything before he puts it in his body. Its not harmful to anyone, unless you're extremely diabetic.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture of the Spanish Fly was consistent with water. It does get a little sticky when it dries from all the sugar its made of. Fairly easy to pour, but you're only supposed to use a few drops.

Taste / Aroma

I bought the coffee flavor and we put it in coffee and drank it. There was no outstanding taste from the coffee. It did smell very much like coffee though.

Performance

There's really nothing I can add to this section. It didn't do anything, and it didn't bring on arousal. We had sex still, but nothing was anymore intense than usual. It was actually disappointing that it didn't work. My father in-law its having ED problems, and if it worked I was going to get some for him. Guess we'll keep looking.
Follow-up commentary
My opinion has not changed about the drops. They are essentially sugar water. If there are any effects to it, it's all in your head, I believe.

Thanks for an honest and helpful review. I assume this stuff is intended as a NOVELTY item. Spanish Fly was around BEFORE ME even..like in the 1940's. When I was in high school in the 1970's, this stuff was the "hot stuff" that guys were trying to sneak to girls in their drinks. (Yah..that kind of crap went on even back then). It was a joke then, and I assume it is now too.
