Sorry, Too Sleepy.. No Sex For You
The Pheromones Lotion is great for sensual massages and relaxation time. The silky smooth lotion rubs in well, leaving skin soft. I found that it isn't great for foreplay, since the cucumber melon scent made me feel relaxed and pretty sleepy.

Pros
Silky smooth.
Cons
Kind of expensive.
The Cucumber-Melon Pheromones lotion is an OK buy. To me it seems to be a bit too much like plain cucumber melon body lotion, but at the same time it doesn’t absorb right away like lotion does. This stuff stays around for a bit on top of my skin.
For the price, I think the bottle is pretty small. The flip-top bottle comes with 4 ounces of massage lotion. Nine dollars gets you a good-sized bottle of Cucumber-Melon lotion at Bath & Body works. Sometimes it is even on sale for $4.50. I found that the flip top is pretty easy to open, but it is a little more difficult to actually get the lotion out of the bottle. A few times I have squeezed too hard I guess, because lotion spurted out all over me. The label on the bottle smears when it gets wet, which isn’t all too great. Mine is covered with small smears over the letters from my boyfriend and I holding the bottle with lotion covered hands. The bottle is small enough for travel, and is also very discreet looking. It passes as a regular bottle of lotion and probably wouldn't get a second glance from any visitors.
Ingredients:
Deionized water, Safflower Oil, Stearic Acid, Glycerin Stearate (and) PEG-100 Stearate, Shea Butter, Stearyl Alcohol, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, d-L Panthenol, Allantoin, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Osomopherones.
The scent of the lotion is perfect, though it does smell exactly like every other cucumber melon lotion I have ever smelled. The scent makes me feel more calm and relaxed. I don’t think it would be a great lotion for foreplay, since it made me feel sleepy. The scent hangs around for a long time after the lotion has been rubbed in.
When my boyfriend or I rub onto each other, it goes on silky smooth and doesn‘t all absorb at once. Which is good, since that means we don’t need to use a ton of lotion to massage each other, like we do with regular lotion. It does help keep skin feeling a bit more moisturized, though not very much. Since this contains parabens and glycerin, I wouldn’t use it near the vagina. It could cause yeast infections.
I didn’t really taste anything on my skin after this was rubbed in. I could kind of barely taste a medicinal or chemical taste, but not enough to really be noticed.
I personally think that having this cool soft lotion rubbed into my feet after a long day of work feels like heaven. Though, I don’t really enjoy walking around afterward with my greasy feet. It’s kind of dangerous feeling. When I want to wash it off, it comes off easily with some warm water and a soapy washcloth. So far this hasn’t irritated my skin. I haven't noticed any stains on my bed, either.
This lotion is somewhat worth a try. I try to pick somewhat familiar scents, since we can’t exactly open the bottles to smell them when they are being sold online. I guess I must have picked a generic, too familiar scent. The feel of the lotion on skin is good, as is the feeling of it being rubbed gently. The price, however, is not as great.

Follow-up commentary

I still love this lotion. It is perfect for a foot or back rub before going to sleep. I also found it has helped me out a bit with my sunburned back, too. I have noticed that green tea and cucumber lotions usually help sunburns to heal faster and with less peeling than other lotions. Rubbing some on after a bit of aloe gel has soaked in would be pretty soothing.
