Sometimes You're Sweet Enough

If you're not that fond of most scented lotions, but still want something that moisturizes really well, this is your ticket right here. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it's pretty much the perfect lotion with how it moisturizes like a heavy lotion without leaving behind the feeling of a heavy lotion.

Use

Meant to be used as a body lotion, you can use this for just your hands, or just your feet, or just any other part of the body instead. It's somewhere between light and heavy, going on smoothly and not leaving behind any real residues. It's also good for those with sensitive skin, at least so the bottle claims. As a regular lotion, this is a fantastic choice, especially if you don't like most scented products.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

It's hard for me to pick exactly what this feels like between the fingers. First I wanted to go with silky or velvety, but ended up going with buttery in a good way. It's thick enough to stay put for the most part, although it will still drip a little bit if you use too much. It glides on smoothly and doesn't take much effort to smooth in.

Taste / Aroma

This is supposed to be unscented, but even most unscented things have some sort of scent, and this is no exception. I know that it smells familiar, but it took me a while to pinpoint what I think it smells like. And that would be ... pretty much all other unscented lotions. Eucerin is the first one that comes to mine as far as comparative smells.

Performance

This stuff is pretty awesome. It smoothed in really quickly, and had that same greasy lotion feel that a lot of lotions have, but that feeling went away in just a few minutes leaving my skin feeling dry, soft, and moisturized. It seems to last as long as my triple moisture creams from Bath and Body works, only it's completely unscented. I didn't feel the need to wash it off, as I imagine that washing it off would defeat the purpose of having put it on to begin with.

Packaging

The bottle is a bit on the girly side, but isn't something most guys would shy away from either. It has the brand name and the scent and that it's a supreme body mousse on the front, and the back has the little product blurb in English and French, along with the ingredients and a website. At 8.5 fluid ounces it's too large to take with you on an airplaine, but isn't so large that it'll take up a lot of room in a suitcase. Might be too large for most purses, but not overwhelming for an overnight bag. The cap is your typical press down on one side to pop up the other and dispense. It should keep everything inside the bottle just fine while traveling.

Experience

I went on a bit of a spree and bought a lot of Cake products for Christmas presents. For my brother who I know gets a lot of dry skin but doesn't like scented lotions or things that feel greasy for a long time, I bought this. I'm also bad and wanted to make sure he'd like it, so I used it for a few days before wrapping it. I think it's a wonderful lotion that I would love to use all the time. It moisturizes without leaving me feeling greasy and it spreads around so nicely. I know it's a bit pricey, but I do think it's worth the money.
