I have actually run into a Dona product that I do not care for! This is a first and I am really disappointed. We ordered the Dona rose petals in pink for our valentine's day trip, but after this, we will most likely never order them again.

The package is pretty! It is a clear tube so you can see the rose petals through the plastic adding to the beauty of the traditional pinkish purple colored Dona label with the elegant lace print. Because of the size, however, they would make a great addition to a romance gift basket or a wedding night gift basket. The petals themselves come in two color choices. There is the option on pink, or the option or coral. Why not traditional red or even white?

These polyester rose petals are very far from being a good value for your money. You are only getting enough rose petals to scatter on about half of queen size bed for $8.99. At that price you could go to a craft store and buy a huge box of wedding rose petals in any color imaginable plus multi color combinations. In these boxes of rose petals from the craft store, you are getting like two thousand petals opposed to the like 30 you get in the Dona rose petal set. You can even get these at some dollar stores now. So you less than it costs to buy the Dona rose petals you could probably buy several thousand from the dollar store, plus fabric coloring to dye them what ever color you wanted.

Overall I guess what I am trying to say it these petals are not worth it at all! I love all the other Dona products though. Its just my money would have been better spent buying a Dona bath and body product rather than these rose petals.
