Smooth and Spicy
The Aromatherapy Massage Oil by Intimate Organics is a slick, lightweight oil that makes massages a little more fun. It is cruelty-free and vegan-friendly, and has wholesome ingredients that nourish the skin. It is a little costly for the amount, but a little goes a long way with this oil, so I think it is worth the price.

Pros
Organic ingredients, vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, light scent, nice consistency
Cons
A little expensive for the volume
The Aromatherapy Massage Oil by Intimate Organics is made from a luscious mixture of oils and extracts. It comes in three scents: Vanilla Chai, Black Pepper and Pink Grapefruit, and Peony Bush. I chose the Vanilla Chai, and found it to be a little more chai and a little less vanilla. It smells kind of spicy with a hint of sweet. I don’t think it is very pleasant when you stick your nose right up to it, but during use its scent was very light and didn’t assault our noses, and was kind of nice.
The oil comes in a 4oz (120ml) bottle that is tall and narrow. That doesn’t seem like a lot, but you don’t need a lot of oil for a massage, so it should last many sessions. The bottle is clear (excluding the label), and has a black snap open top that when unscrewed does have a safety seal on it. The bottle label has some information about the oil, stating that it is paraben free, DEA free, naturally derived, and pure vegan. It also says that it is not tested on animals and is made in Canada. The Vanilla and Chai full ingredient list as printed on the bottle is: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Helianthus Annuus (sunflower) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Oil), Parfum, Tocopheryl Acetate, Certified Organic Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed oil, Certified Organic Lycium Barbarum Goji Berry Fruit Extract and Certified Organic Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Lemon Grass Leaf/Stem Extract and Certified Organic Aloe Barbadensis Aloe Leaf Extract.
This oil is very runny, and I don’t think it is best to pour directly onto your partner. I poured a little bit into my hand and rubbed it together a little bit before massaging my partner. It is very smooth and rather lightweight for oil. As I massaged I could feel it sinking into my man’s skin. It didn’t leave a lot of greasy residue, and it felt really natural and nice. I used between a quarter and a half teaspoon each time I got a little. I was giving my partner a full body massage, so I had to keep getting more to apply oil all over the body. The oil glides across the skin very well and doesn’t dry up quickly. It does absorb a little bit, and so I found that when working on large areas such as the back that I needed to get a little more oil to keep going. The amount of oil you use will depend on how long you are massaging, how much of an area you are massaging, and how slick you like it. Generally speaking, I think this oil will go a long way.
When you are done with your massage, you can let your skin air dry for little bit and then get dressed and go about your business. It is so light and moisturizing that you aren't going to feel like you are covered in grease. If you are uncomfortable though, you can always wipe it off or take a shower.
I have really enjoyed this oil and think we will be using it for a long time. I would love to try the Peony Bush because I think I would like that scent more. The Vanilla Chai is nice, but it does have a spiciness to it that doesn’t really scream romance.
