Smells like Roses
Overall, I love how soft and supple my skin feels after using this- but when I replace this pot I am trying a different scent.

Pros
Smooth, luxurious, softening, can be used for massage
Cons
Heavy rose scent
Walking the Red Carpet Body Souffle is a high quality cream lotion with a whipped texture. It goes on creamy smooth and rubs in nicely, leaving you instantly soft (not sticky), smooth, and very scented.
You will love it as a skin softening lotion, no doubt about it. I am coming from the perspective of a person with moderately moisturized skin, but suffering through a rather dry winter. This body souffle leaves my skin glowing and soft. It does its job fantastically there. The scent is very strong though a little goes a long way and then lasts and lasts. Walking the Red Carpet has a strong rose scent, with maybe a hint of gardenia. I remember my grandma buying me a rose-scented soap kit when I was a little girl, and so I am instantly transported back to that memory every time I unscrew the lid.
The packaging is jazzy and very nice! This would be a perfect product to give as a gift for that reason. The instructions on the 8 oz. plastic pot say "after showering or bathing, massage a generous amount into warm, damp skin. Pure bliss, skin is velvety soft, your spirit is renewed." It is definitely a luxurious lotion, it feels and looks like a more quality product than what you'd get from a drugstore.
Ingredients:
Water, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit, Helianthus Annus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG 100 Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cyclomethicone, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Buttter, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Copernica Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Xanthum Gum Powder
All in all, if you love a floral rose scent, this is the perfect product for you. They also have a whole line in the same scent with a solid perfume, body polish, cleanser, etc. If you are sensitive to heavy scents, or go more for fruity or musky scents rather than floral (some might find the heavy rose scent to be old lady), then I'd recommend a different variety.

Experience
Back rubs are my favorite, so when this arrived, my husband indulged me with a nice long rub. With the body souffle, a little goes a long way. It felt so nice being rubbed in, and after, the massage continued to feel wonderful on my smoothed skin.
I wasn't sure what to expect in the scent by the name, "Walking the Red Carpet", and was a little disappointed by the heavy rose smell. I like tropical and fruity smells over floral, so it is a personal preference. My husband is sensitive to scents and after the massage he wasn't too keen on cuddling due to the strong scent

Follow-up commentary
30 days after original review
The souffle is a luxurious cream to use. As a little goes a long way, I still have plenty in my pot. I would use it more often if I loved the scent, but it is a little too floral strong for me.

Thanks for the review. Sucks that the scent didn't work out so well for you, I am not a fan of florals myself. I'll have to try another scent of this line when I try it out.

Yeah, the island ones sound more promising.
