The Max Attract: Hypnotic cologne, by Classic Erotica, is scent designed for men. It is infused with pheromones; therefore, it supposedly enhances sexual attraction. According to the bottle: Hypnotic is a bold, erotic, masculine fragrance to enhance a man’s sexual identity. With that being said, a woman could wear this cologne as well, as long as she enjoys a more masculine scent.

Application is simple: just push on the spray nozzle, like most other colognes. In order to ensure that this product doesn’t irritate your skin or mess with your sinuses, it is a good idea to try just a small amount on the first application. If everything goes well, then feel free to wear as much (or as little) as you’d like!

Max Attract is clear both in the bottle and when sprayed onto the skin. When you spray the cologne, it comes out of the bottle as a thin mist. As long as you don’t hold the bottle within an inch of your skin, the liquid won’t seem runny. The cologne does dry pretty quickly and does not leave stains if it comes into contact with clothing. What my boyfriend loved most is that he didn’t feel sticky or greasy afterwards, like he does with other products.

Max Attract has a light, masculine scent straight from the bottle. I don’t really know what it could be compared to since it isn’t as strong as most men’s fragrances. The best I can say is it’s like a mixture of soap and musk.

Since the cologne is infused with pheromones, it won’t smell the same on every man. How this works: the product blends with a man’s pH balance and natural pheromones to create a scent that is unique and, supposedly, enhances sexuality.

Upon initial spray the scent is a bit strong. Within a few minutes, it settles into place and is much lighter. Throughout the day, my boyfriend received compliments in the scent, even though he could no longer smell it. As with any fragrance, he grew accustomed to the scent, so unless he brought his wrist up to his nose, he couldn’t detect the scent.

After an 8 hour shift at work, I could still smell the cologne on him if I was close enough. If we planned on going out for the evening, my boyfriend would have reapplied the cologne since it was starting to wear off.

Max Attract is supposed to enhance the wearer’s sexual attraction. Whether or not this is true, I cannot say. While I did enjoy the cologne, I didn’t feel any different towards my boyfriend. I find him just as alluring with this fragrance as I would if he hadn’t been wearing it.

The scent lasted for a bit longer than I had expected it to (based upon other reviews); I could still smell the cologne when my boyfriend came home from work if I was close enough to him. I will say that if you plan on wearing it for a long period of time, you may want to reapply. Since Max Attract has such a light scent, you shouldn’t have to worry about it becoming overwhelming.

Max Attract comes in a 1 fluid ounce glass bottle. It was wrapped in a small, padded white package to ensure that it didn’t break during transit.

There is a gold cap that covers the spray nozzle.

If you were to quickly glance at the bottle, it would just look like any other cologne. However, if you were to inspect the label, you would read various lines about the product’s attraction-enhancing qualities. Personally, my boyfriend is not embarrassed about having someone know he wears pheromone infused cologne, but if it makes you uncomfortable, you can hide the bottle among other colognes, aftershaves, etc. Otherwise, you can place it in a drawer or something like that.
